Haldir climbed up the tower wall slowly, but as steadily as he could with just one available hand. In the other, he had an elaborate bouquet of wildflowers and greenery he’d found in in the woods around the city. He’d taken it upon himself to stop by Galadriel's new room every day or so, bringing small bits of the wood into her room. Kirkwall wass disparagingly devoid of green things. He sought to lift her spirits, and combat the dreariness of city. He knew she had a very fond love of growing things, so much she stopped the passage of time in Lorien to keep the forest evergreen.

The room was small, and sparsely decorated aside from the many vases of flowers. He even found a particular endearing sapling, which was precariously placed along the top of an rock outcropping. He moved it into a small container, and placed that by the window. 

He opened the window, swiftly swinging inside. After a few moments of surveying the blooming room, he smiled and nodded in satisfaction. It wasn’t much, but he hoped it would help. A few short strides brought him to her bed, where he laid the sweet smelling lavender and crystal grace.

Her rooms had become infinitely more livable in the last few days and, truth be told, Galadriel was uncertain who to thank. She entertained the idea that it might be Solas, attempting to repay her for the cloak perhaps, but he was afield and unlikely to arrange such things. Thranduil and she were not so close that he would offer her such niceties, but his wife, perhaps, could have.

It is something of a relief when she opens her door to find Haldir resting a bouquet on her pillow. Her smile is reflexive.

"Ah! I should have guessed!"

Haldir turned, surprised and a little embarrassed. He turned, bowing head respectfully to her. "Lady. I hope you are well. I....was just..." He motioned to the new addition, hoping that she would understand he wasn't up to anything mischievous.
