He sits next to her and gives Quillhelmina his attention a bit, enjoying the adorableness that is a hedgehog.

"When it happens I'll try to make sure you are by some cousins, then. Or push over a nice couch."

"That's thoughtful of you," she replies with a smirk. "You're always looking out for me when it comes to dashing men sweeping me off my feet."

Quillhelmina is getting a dashing man, well, elf man sweeping her off her feet right now, as she kicks her legs in delight of having a new person fawn over her.

"How goes things with you? Still making puzzle boxes?"

Cyril nods at that. "Oh, yes. People seem to like them and they made useful gifts," he admitted.

"Though, as an Artificer, I can make these elemental traps now. They explode in ice or fire! It's... likely the closest I'll get to the amount of damage you and other mages can do."

[serannas]

"Really? That's great! I've seen those mines in action before." Only... on the opposing side. It's not great to have them thrown at you.

"What else does an Artificer have at their disposal?"

Cyril thinks about that for a moment. "You know dwarven mechanical things? I want to do more like that, but it's not exactly like they're allowing day trips into Orzammar. Which is a shame. I'd love to check out their cities and see how they work."

[serannas]

"Mm, true, though maybe the Inquisition will have reason to send a diplomatic detachment someday? Until then, maybe you can come across someone who's left the city and they could tell you about it. You never know."

All that stuff goes completely over her head, but she does think it's all very impressive. Obviously without magic, they've had to come up with alternate ways of doing things.
