"It helps that I have the backing of Varric Tethras," she says. "He promised me long ago he'd help me get published. I've always wanted to read a book about elven ruins written by an elf, but since I couldn't find any, I had to write my own."
It certainly hasn't been easy. A Dalish elf doesn't exactly have the best education out there, but that's why she's taken so long to do this. She's written and rewritten things so many times that she must have her book memorized by now.
"I like to think I become a little more adventurous everyday, thank you very much!" she answers with a laugh. "And there's far more adventures out there for me; I just have to find them. What about you? Do you consider yourself to be that sort?"
"Wait, you know Varric Tethras?!" Adasse gaped at her for a moment, before he gave her a playful swat on the arm. "You she-demon! You've been holding out on me."
His dark eyes gleam, before they become thoughtful, "Honestly, every day of my life is an adventure, because I've managed to make it this far. I don't have to tell you, survival is its own adventure, honestly."
"What?" she laughs, holding her hands up to stop anymore possible attacks. "He's a member of the Inquisition! We spent time together back at Skyhold." She'd plop herself down on the table in front of the fire in the Great Hall, draw up her legs, and talk to Varric about her hopes for the future and about helping the elves.
"That's true. Whether out in the wilderness or in the heart of a city, people have to endure a lot, don't they?"
