[closed] I keep em in a jar

WHO: Evrion and Etienne
WHAT: A new sucker is born every day, but this one was born about eighteen years ago
WHEN: Now
WHERE: Etienne's market stall
NOTES: will update if needed

Slowly, slowly, Evrion is getting bolder about leaving the tower. Today he's even left the Gallows, taking care to always stay near people with the Inquisition's insignia, if not the Chantry sunburst. But crowds can be finicky, and it isn't long before he's invested in looking at something colorful or another, and now he's lost.

There's one stall in particular where he finds himself looking dazedly about at all the... what are these, healing remedies? and he meets eyes with the shopkeeper, his own wide and blue and bewildered.

"Please, be at ease." Étienne smiles, warm and friendly. He can press back his prejudices for the sake of customers and opportunity, after all, and offers his hand to shake. "I'm Doctor Beaumanoir. Rather new to the city myself, but I am been fortunate to have opportunities to become intimately acquainted."

He reaches into his doublet (finely embroidered) and draws his hand back with a piece of paper.

"At the present moment you stand in my shop. Where do you need to be, monsieur?"

"Ah, magic does not have the monopoly on healing. I think it a little dismissive, when mages claim that title possessively. No, my medicine is non-magical, but equally healing." He claps his hands together, "would you like to see? I have some new tonics I have perfected."

And the smile broadens, "the Gallows! Are you with the Inquisition, then? I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."
