WHAT: Jang tries to find a lawyer.
WHEN: Now
WHERE: Jang's room and the Gallows
NOTES: Swearing
1. Jang Is in her room, behind a desk with paperwork scattered about and her crystal next to her. Anyone trying to see here will have to get past a rather humorless guard, but anyone within 20 feet of her room can hear her ranting in a foreign language, swearing and yelling at her crystal. She’s been trying to get any information on her arrest and trying to find a Lawyer over the network.
“Listen, I need a lawyer and someone who knows how laws work in this place. Public defenders are a thing here right? Vikings had public defenders for god’s sake.” There is a streak of swearing in Mandarin and Creole.
2. Later in the day, she has left her room and wandering the Gallows, trailed closely by her guard who she refers to as “Steve”. Still swearing a blue streak in Chinese and Louisiana Creole, which anyone who speaks Orleasian would be surprised to understand. She doesn’t seem to have a location in mind, just needed to get out of her room, but anyone who sees her knows that she is furious.

"I learned it...in Hong Kong," the answer comes back in English and her expression falters a bit. "I think."
She stares a moment longer then shakes her head. Her attention drifts from Jang to the man behind her and she raises both brows.
"Made a new friend, did you?"
no subject
"Oh god no, this asshole? I'm under house arrest or something, no idea why. I've gotta just wait in my room for a damn week with this guy making sure I don't run off.

"You didn't go hustling someone did you?"

"Ain't much interesting about me," she starts. "The job is fine enough, easy indoor work, lots of ice cream and happy folk when they come in. It's a good routine and I'm savin more than I thought I'd get paid."

She continues to walk around the market, looking at the stalls and thinking.
"The decorations are quite nice though, did you do all that artwork? I was never any good at art myself, didn't have the talent for it."

She isn't one to really think of change; Dolores is very set in her ways...but if her friend was under watch and possibly in danger, well, it made sense. It wasn't like this was home anyway.
"Not sure how much it costs to live round these parts though. Can't imagine it's much more than home."
no subject
Jang pauses for a moment, as if she's just hearing Dolores for the first time. "Wait...We? You'd...you'd want to move out and get a place? I mean...Geeze, that's really nice of you, thank you!"
no subject
"Well of course I would, we're friends."
no subject
Jang pauses, thinking and walking through the market. "A lot of my friends are gone...I mean, we were saving a lot of people, protected a lot of innocents, but still...I miss my friends."
Jang suddenly turns and gives Dolores a hug, before releasing her. "Thank you for being my friend Dolores. At least you can take care of yourself, and there's no monsters trying to kill us every five minutes here!"
no subject
"It's not so bad, really, ain't known a single person yet whose died here. Maybe it won't become a trend."
With her free hand Dolores gestures to the market.
"I've got a list of shopping to get, you want to come with me?"
no subject
Jang falls into step with Dolores, and says "Sure! I'd like to go shopping with ya. Thanks!"
no subject
Dolores turns and fishes a paper out of her satchel, it's a folded list of about ten items and she passes it to Jang.
"I need to get these for work. I get them every day but it'll be nice having company."
no subject
Jang walks around the market, looking for the bits she recognizes and getting them for Dolores. "Maybe I could take you out to the bar tomorrow then since you won't be shopping."

There's a pause and then:
"I guess he must be stockpiling? Anyway, what bar would you like to go to? I haven't seen a saloon around here...but there were a few cathouses scattered about.
"You don't mean those, right?" She asks, a touch hesitant.
