Someone- a Templar and an Inquisition guard- fetch her from her room the afternoon between the conclusion of negotiations and the start of the travel towards Tevinter. They are as stoic as those before them, and they lead Jang to a room in the central of the Gallows' towers, to a meeting room that has, until this point, been unused.
There are chairs for all present, a desk-- Thranduil sits in one, and at the opening of the door gestures Jang to another.
"You may leave us," this, to the guards. If Sers Coupe and Amsel cannot protect them (him) from a little potential abomination, then what use are they?
Jhang has no official division head, but he looks towards Coupe to begin the proceedings. She would have the most experience with this, after all.

The odd deck of cards seems to appear in her hand again as she starts to idly shuffle it. "So now what? I assume Steve can get off my back, and I report to Beleth, see what good I can do, hmm?"

"You will report to Scoutmaster Ashara," firmly, the second time he's issued a correction, this time with a rap of his knuckles against the table, "when she calls for you, and I expect she will give you the overview she gives all arrivals to her Division. You said you have served before; she is your commanding officer."
That must translate between worlds.

Jang pauses for a moment and then says, "That is the Anthem of the Union army and the capital of the Confederacy, respectively. The two forces who've been fighting a civil war for the past 20 years."
She gives a sigh and presses on. "You keep saying that I should know things but when I tell you I don't know them, you never tell me what it is I should know. What HAPPENED here? Did someone...I don't know, bomb the marketplace? Just tell me what is going on!"
Her voice sounds more desperate now, she has been in enough fights to know that bad intel or lack thereof can get you killed. And this whole place is nothing but new information. Fighiting demons from a glowing rift was easy. Just kill em and move on. This is something new, and she can't follow along until someone explains what is happening anymore. She needs answers.
