"Shit," Connor is sullen, terse. He closes his eyes. This was worse, worse than being damaged- that could be repaired; there was a chance of not being deemed defective and deactivated. This was worse than deviancy. He rubs his face with both hands. It helps lessen the discomfort tingling around his temples as he tries to think clearly.
