( openish ) Off the Florida Keys, there's a place called Kokomo

WHO: Marisol, Merrill, Gareth, (maybe Colin and Max?) and open to anyone who would like to hang out having never-ending brunch and cocktails at Marisol's place while that nonsense is going on in the Gallows.
WHAT: montage of people having a wonderful time and being glad they aren't in the Gallows
WHEN: during the event
WHERE: Marisol's estate, Hightown
NOTES: Just one thread please, no strict tag order, we'll probably do timeskips to enjoy many fantastic brunchy moments.

It's amazing how even in the midst of the miserable Marcher winter Marisol's estate manages to exude the feelings of the tropics and summer. Not so much outside, of course, but the inside is plush and warm, and the mimosas flow freely.

(Mimosas, which she secured plentiful oranges for for Nikos sake, and then he decided not to come. He would pay the consequences for that snub.)

Each of her guests is greeted by servants who take their cloaks, and when they join Marisol in the light, airy room she smiles and kisses them on each cheek. The food is plentiful, never ending, and so is the booze. In the cold the flamingoes are happily ensconced in the conservatory to ensure their safety, but the odd one might come and stick their head in from time to time.

Eventually, Marisol raises her glass in a toast: "All of you, thank you so much for coming. I hope you have a wonderful time in my home."

"It's important to make friends!" Merrill all but chirps it (somewhere, one of the flamingos probably perks its head up and wonders why there's a lost chick in the other room), but she clearly means the words. Friends are important. Clan is important.

She isn't wearing any shoes and that makes it easy to cross her legs under herself, even while balancing a glass in her hand. "The Inquisition is nothing without its members, after all. And- well, I know humans don't have clans, but Dalish do. It makes me feel more at home, having people I can think of in that way."
