Lucky for their wayward matchmaker, Six is not the kind of person to try to overanalyse orders she is given, especially not when she has been so determined to prove herself a useful part of the Inquisition. Her immediate reaction is to gather herself, to strap on her full plate armour, to have her greatsword on her back and to make her way out to the stables. She does not take the horse offered to her - instead she takes her own, a frown on her face as she thinks of Marcoulf.
She will have to visit him soon.
It doesn't take long for her and her mission partner - Krem, she's pleased to recognise - to saddle up and begin to make their way out to where they're meant to go, but it's only then that Six begins to realise that the details of their mission is a little... Hazy at best. Usually she is given a target, a place to go, something to investigate or someone to try and recognise, to understand, to bring back, but this one... Go and accept a package. It's familiar, something she had done with Isaac before (a delivery rather than a pickup), but she's not entirely sure why she was given this particular job.
She's not subtle, or quiet, and she's memorable. It doesn't seem like something they need two rather particularly strong warriors to do. So what is it?
"Did you receive many details on this mission?"

He slides down from his mount after she does, but he loops its rein around a tree because he doesn't trust that it won't trot off when left to its own devices, before moving to stand next to her and peering down into the basket.
"Huh." They sure have been, haven't they? He crosses his arms, which in his armor makes a bit of a clangor, but he definitely looks more amused than anything. It's clearly harmless enough. "Well, you hungry?

Awkwardly, she lifts her hands to unstrap the greatsword on her back and place it to one side, to reach down and open the basket to look inside properly. There are pastries and meats, looking as though they've been freshly prepared and left for them to eat. There's a part of her that wonders about some kind of assassination attempt - but why would the Inquisition wish for both her and Krem to die? She doesn't imagine they've done anything wrong.
Instead, she breathes out and looks back at her companion, her smile weak but in place. "It seems a sensible choice, if this is what we've been sent to do."

Clearly, he doesn't feel half as hesitant as she does: his return smile is easy and quick. Certainly there are worse folks to get stuck in some idyllic orchard to eat a meal with, before they figure out whose bright idea any of this was. It's not that he's not cautious, which he can be (usually is, a habit from spending so long vigilantly keeping secrets), it's that Krem has been working alongside the Inquisition for years and years now and he trusts that the folks running it aren't looking to bump him off for no reason.
"I take it this doesn't happen often around here?" It seems like she's been in Kirkwall long enough to know better than him how things are run at this outpost. Reports can only tell him so much.

Whoever decided it was a good idea to send them here at least sent her with someone who would not be appalling company.
"Missions for picnics? Not in my experience." Careful, Six reaches into the basket and begins to share out the foot carefully, making sure to place things evenly in the middle of the two of them. She's still frowning, just a little, unsure about all of this - but then she speaks again. "The last missions I have been sent on have been deliveries or scouting. This does not usually come into the picture." Someone must have an ulterior motive, but she cannot think what it might be.
