Bowels was probably not as accurate as innards, and to be honest the implications that the word bowels brings across is probably not something that Bruce would like in a song--if this ever becomes a song. He's still hoping for 'no', personally, although he's sure that his personal opinion doesn't really apply.

"Maybe you should rework that entire line," he responds instead. "Especially if children are going to hear that." It wasn't exactly the most friendly of images to project to them, after all.

Bruce tries his best to not make a face at Alistair's words. Did children really like to hear things like that? Bruce couldn't say for himself given his own past experiences, but that certainly didn't seem to sound right. Children these days must be quite... different. Then again, these were very different times.

He shifts himself as the cart rolls on by, making way for its path and steps to the side in order to avoid a passing runner before he glances back at Alistair.

"I was heading back to my tent," he replies. "Restocking my supplies for my next round with the refugees." He leaves it there - Alistair is completely free to join him if he so wished to. Bruce supposes having a Grey Warden around would help to ease the worries of people better than he ever could.
