Sonia got back from an extended mission that took her out of Kirkwall just a few weeks ago, and then spent the last few weeks fighting off an minor and irritatingly resistant cold. Now that she's no longer sniffling 24/7, it's time for her to get into some more interesting work and socialize like the wine-toting butterfly she is.
She also seems to be amassing quite the collection of children's toys and some clothes, evidently meant as souvenirs. They are slowly taking over one corner of her quarters, like an adorable invasion of stuffed animals.
If you'd like to work on a mission together, hang out (or meet for the first time), or get into trouble (cause problems) with Sonia, hit me up at

byerly & sidony
So she is thrilled to the brim that Sidony and Byerly have accepted her family dinner invite. Not that she thought they would refuse -- even if Byerly might put up resistance, she's sure Sidony would insist -- and who would pass up her company, especially when it comes coupled with a bottle from her home vineyards? Only a tasteless fool, that's who. Sonia is very keen on getting to know Sidony better, and on seeing just how she and Byerly are like together. Certainly they must keep up their act, whatever the lines, at all times. But Sonia has found herself quite fond of her cousin-in-law, and hopes that by this gesture, she can show Sidony that she has nothing to fear from her. In an unprecedented turn of maturity, Sonia has absolutely zero interest or intent to meddle in their affairs.
The dinner is a quiet little affair in her quarters, the small table pulled away from the wall and draped in a simple but beautifully-dyed cloth brought from home, lit softly with a slow-burning candle. The food is relatively simple, no seven-course feast, because Sonia had insisted on cooking herself. She did, of course, have help. That is why dinner looks like it might actually be good and not just...edible. There's a decanter of Wildcrest merlot already set out to breathe, with three wine glasses empty and waiting. She looks almost girlishly excited to see them, bright-eyed and arms wide, and none of it is feigned. This will be a good time.

"How lovely, dear cousin," he says, greeting Sonia with a fond kiss on the cheek. "You spoil us." And then, to his wife - "Sidony. I believe you and Sonia have already met, yes? Just as a reminder, she is the only member of my family who doesn't deserve to die face-down in shit. Sonia, my wife, Sidony."
