"Which division are you with, James?"

"Jim," he offers, then, "Research."

"My sister's in your division—Joselyn. Lighter hair, similar face." Similar. "Setting something on fire."

She pauses then, less reprieve and more consideration.

"You didn't ask, but Forces."

"Ah," he says, glances down with a touch of abashment, then back to Miriam. "That'd be why I didn't ask."

Mixing two of them up; he can admit it, similar as they look.

"How long have you been here?"

Surely there haven't been twins who he just didn't notice, this whole time.
