I don't want them to get reliant on me, since you never know when you'll have to parkour without a mage around." Barrier is such a useful spell and even Korrin, ever fixed on the offensive, can't do without it.

His magic was all focused on help'n the ship sail smooth. Barrier might be useful for more than keep'n them from gett'n shot. "Ain't a half bad idea, that. You'll probably get some use outta it here."

That prompts a shrug from Korrin, similarly clueless. "I couldn't say, she's not someone I'm familiar with. The elves I know in Skyhold are the Dalish ones, like Beleth. She'll be a good one to have, though. Not as invisible as a City Elf, sure, but she's damn good at what she does."
