"He sounds like a tool." Beleth replies, shaking her head with an amused smile on her face. That sounded...pretty hilarious, really. And that the ass had it coming. If only Beleth could have seen the look on the guy's face--or managed to capture it for Korrin and her crew.

She drinks at that, smile turning sheepish. "I guess it counts when you're a kid, right? It hasn't really happened recently, but when I was learning, there were Incidents." And now the smile turns nostalgic, eyes cast down on her mug. "...Gavin helped me learn how to climb, actually, and he was the one who had to rescue me, most of the time. Luckily, I was small enough then, he could just pluck me out of the tree."

Of course, if it happened nowadays, half of Skyhold could probably pluck her out of the tree, if necessary.

"Never have I ever...been an only child." Okay, this might be cheating a little, because Korrin never mentioned a sibling, but Beleth was curious.

Korrin chuckles at mention of incidents, hands cupping her mug though she doesn't drink before Beleth's 'I never's bid her to do so. "Considering how I met Gavin, that seems nothing short of incredibly ironic. He's the one to need rescuing more than the other way around. But I'm not surprised he had a hand your skills, either."

At least Beleth doesn't seem to need the help, but if she ever does, there will be a qunari-shaped landing pillow. Korrin can take it, honest.

And it's her turn to drink. "Thank the Maker for that. I didn't need younger siblings to babysit; my parents could be handfuls just on their own. Sometimes it felt like I was raising them instead of the other way around. That's what you get when they leave the Qun young and had to learn to live outside it from the ground up. They had me relatively young, too, which probably didn't help.

I never really rebelled against my parents. Didn't have to, since they let me do whatever I wanted."
