Galadriel was, by in large, completely unaware of the game in question. However, the script on the invitation had been legible (and rather elegant) and she had yet to see many games of Thedas. It was a combination of curious elements (appreciation for penmanship and curiosity chief among them) that caused her to enter and decide to play but she had. It was not difficult to find someone to challenge, he had laid out his table thoughtfully, and she took the seat across from him with a calm smile and a glimmer of interest in her eyes.

"I've never played this game before," Galadriel informed him, in the subtle tone of someone who had, upon sight of the drinks, guessed the entire purpose of it but who did not immediately wish to reveal that information.

"I am called Galadriel," she replied and casually took up her glass. The smell of mead was familiar and all too welcome, but she resisted the urge to drink. She was quite certain there would be ample opportunity.

"As our examples have, quite summarily, canceled one another out, I assume the game will begin with the next?" Galadriel asked but, quite honestly, it wasn't entirely intended as a question. He had been succinct enough and the rules were not terribly complex.

"I have never..." Galadriel began slowly and considered her statement carefully. The assessing look she leveled at Twisted Fate was friendly, an odd feature in an assessing look, and her smile quirked as she thought. "Spent a summer in Thedas."

Jokes on her, there are no winners in this game.

It was a fair and, truly, inevitable bit of turnaround. Galadriel inclines her head and takes a sip. It is not nearly the mead she recalls, nor is it any competition for the miruvor brewed in the halls of Elrond, but it is light and pleasant and familiar in an inexplicable way. She cannot help but approve as she looks back at him.

"Tell me is the goal to drink the least or the most?" Galadriel asked politely. "With such fine spirits I cannot say whether the more or less sober is truly the victor."
