The Tevinter army uniforms are... well-loved. They each have a tarnished metal breastplate to wear and a thick gambeson, and Abby's is losing its stitching in places. She works her finger underneath of a broken seam, and plucks a wisp of old padding free with a look of distaste. There's little chance that this will save them from particularly nasty bruising, but then again, the assignment is not supposed to involve fighting. It is supposed to be quick and quiet. Two things she is decidedly not.

The way she holds herself betrays this nature. She's tall and square in frame, used to the easy command of a room. There's little discomfort present in the way that she appraises Fenris, and less tact to how she chooses to greets him:

"This isn't the first time we've met."

She heard his most recent introduction over the crystal, but never answered it. Hopefully it's made clear why when she adds, "We sparred together. Once. When I first got here, months ago."

Hardly a relationship. She hadn't felt it necessary to bother him with the memory.
