WHO: Korrin and anyone.
WHAT: Korrin helping restore/exploring Skyhold
WHEN: Now or any time within the past two weeks.
WHERE: Skyhold, naturally. All over.
NOTES: Any previous CR from TDM is welcome. Or, since she's traveled all over, if it'd you'd like them to have already met, just let me know and we can talk details.

The Inquisition's recent history would have anyone reeling, and Korrin Ataash is no exception. Present for that last night at Haven and the trek to Skyhold, the Vashoth mage has those memories firmly in mind, though she can't bring herself to talk about it with anyone. Instead, she focuses her attention outward, into being productive. Need debris moved, doorways cleared, a walkway restored? Just ask the nearby mage, who is all over the fortress helping out however possible. She doesn't seem to mind conversation either, as long as she's allowed to work and talk at the same time.

While she can and does go on for long stretches, Korrin isn't exhaustible or unreasonable about taking breaks. Even during said breaks she's not idle, though, preferring to explore Skyhold bit by bit. She can be found poking about almost anywhere, but the Undercroft, Armory and Training Grounds -and, naturally, the tavern- are the most likely targets of her interest. And of course if there's anyone who looks especially lost or in need of assistance, she'll be there to help.

"Ah, yeah. Figured everyone could use some refreshments." Sam holds out the water skin. Alright, going well so far.

At the mention of the armory he blinks then smiles. "I was. I guess I look different without the apron and a hammer though."

Korrin readily accepts the water skin, taking in some much-needed refreshment. She's luckier in that she doesn't have to physically move the debris around like some, but it still takes a while when there's so much to do.

"Ah, good. That would have nagged at me. I try to remember faces, but there's been so many new people lately. I'm Korrin, by the way, of the Valo-Kas."

"I know what you mean. It feels a bit overwhelming at times." At that he tuns a bit to look at all the people lined up to help move debris for a moment.

Turning back around at hearing a name, Sam finds his smile widen a bit. "Samouel. Ah, once of the Ostwick Circle." A pretty name, and thankfully something he could pronounce.

"Ostwick? I've passed through there often enough, and my parents are semi-settled near there now. It's not bad, as far as Free Marcher cities go." She perks up a little, not considering any one place in it 'home' but still, there are some areas that are more familiar to her than others and that's one of them. "So did you come all this way to join up, or were you in the area already?"

"Ah, well. Don't ask me if there any stores or anything I liked there. I was only in the actual city for only a few months before the Templars took me to the Circle." Sam laughs at that, rubbing the back of his head.

His laugh settles down a bit though when Korrin inquires about his current status with the Inquisition. "Hm. Ah... kind of a bit of both? I came along with everyone else from Haven."

"Same here." Her smile fades at mention of Haven and she nods with that look in her eyes everyone gets when their thoughts go to that last night. Though only for a moment; she's not here to wallow or promote wallowing. "Some of my company were in the area for Conclave-related business. I stayed nearby...and after everything went to hell, joined up. I was out in the field a lot, though, so that's probably why I don't remember seeing you until recently."

Sam finds his own smile fading a bit, seeing the familiar sadness about the end of Haven. It's still fresh. It'll be a while before it becomes alright.

At the mention of the Conclave, Sam's eyes widen a bit. She had joined up that soon as well, huh? "That makes sense. I didn't go out on the field much, but I always kept busy at Haven. Otherwise I think I would have noticed you as well."

He looks at the wall then. "How's the wall coming along?"
