"Ah." He considers a moment whether to share this, but then says: "I do not remember if you were here yet. When the batch of soup forced involuntary honesty?" (Even now calling it "truth soup" feels like a little much for him.) "Regardless, Mlle. Baudin confronted me about my choice to use lyrium in the shared baths. It is not the most awkward moment in Riftwatch I have had, this."

He does add, though, "It is kind of you to think to ask, regardless."

"Must've missed that one," Jude says with a chuckle, low and rolling, but it's fun to think on. Plenty of characters in Riftwatch, all of them with their secrets.

"Hopefully not too painful?"

"Well. I don't think the nudity bothered either of us too much, but it was not the most pleasant conversation I've ever had. On the other hand, it did directly lead to my finally quitting so." He makes a tilting motion with his hand. "The actual quitting was much more painful than the conversation about it, in fairness."

"Don't actually know that much about lyrium," Jude says, but his voice has softened a touch. Respect, really.

"But any kind of dependence is a difficult thing to come out of. Physical pain, psychological. Lifestyle changes. Social changes. For what it's worth from a near-stranger, I'm proud of you."

"That's very kind." And it is; Jude gives the impression that he'd likely say so even if he were from Thedas, which makes him almost unique. "I should have done it sooner than I did, really, but I worried that I would not have much to offer the organization without it. Not only the withdrawal effects, but there are certain abilities Templars can only access while they're on it."

Riftwatch hasn't kicked him out regardless, but he's still not ready to actually make that joke just yet. Maybe one day.
