Katniss has been taking all her lessons seriously, but the ones she had been working on most were the rogue lessons - lessons in climbing and sneaking in and out of places. Knife throwing into all kinds of targets. Climbing up and down buildings, and quite literally falling off of them.
No one was quite sure what she was training so hard for -- but then most of them had not been to the Emprise du Lion. They had not seen the cages. Katniss was not going to throw away their only chance to save those people, so whatever she needed to know? She would do.
So don't be surprised if she drops in on you, as she falls back into piles of hay or down in a leap.

Re: IDK Somewhere outside where she's falling off stuff.
She blinked at the other woman, before her mouth twitched, "I'm trying to learn how to fall when I don't intend to. You know, getting thrown out of a window or something. So I don't break my neck."
Pause. "Kitten?"

She eyed the girl.
"Look, you're one of Zev's learners, aren't you? He first taught me a thing or two, and then I made the teachings even better. And you don't want to know how many things I've been thrown out of."

Amusement flickers through grey eyes, but then comes that intent focus. "I am. And if you can teach me to fall to land on my feet, you can call me Cat all you want."
no subject
She gives the younger girl another once-over.
"I'll start by warning you that there will be times you don't want to land on your feet. Not if you like your legs unbroken, anyway. And never assume your landing will be soft. Better to assume you're about to crash into rock. But most important to landing on your feet? Always make sure you can tell which way is up, and always be on top. Think you can handle that to start?"

She pressed her lips together, considering what the woman had said. So falling was ... like everything else. Keep your wits about you, at all times. She nodded her head, once. "Yeah. I can handle that."

She turned to the wall, and started to climb up it, looking for the spaces inbetween as Ara had taught her.

This time she dropped again from the wall again, this time spreading her body wide to fall in a way that if she wasn't going to fall on her feet, she wasn't going to break her fool neck either.

The pirate laughed.
"I bet you could use a drink after all that."
no subject
"I can use a cider, definitely." She said slowly, before her lips twitch up. "I bet you could use one too."
no subject
She led the younger girl to the tavern.
"On me today. Just a cider for you, you said?"

She grins.
"You know, there is such a thing as hard cider. You should taste it sometime."
no subject
A pause, before she gave Isabela a strange look. "What's hard cider?"
