There's no one sitting at the head of this meeting, but no one has the time to spend arranging the chairs in a careful egalitarian circle, either. For the most part the chairs remain at the desks, and the occupants are tasked with angling them this way or that to create a wobbly polygon with everyone facing vaguely center. There's coffee. There's more than one person, probably, taking accurate notes, because this is Diplomacy. There's a pleasant breeze through the busted window that occasionally turns into a paper-rustling gust. And there's work to do.

Make new top-level comments for new agenda items/conversation topics. Anyone can add a new thing. Please add new things. If anyone who isn't in Diplomacy wants to drop a problem/scenario as a top level (like "P.S. Bob made some nobles angry and that needs to be addressed") for everyone to talk about, please do that.

Also, mod hat: when inventing things our characters are doing or have done in the background, we're limited to little things. If something is significant enough to require a plot request, we can't say we're already doing it! But we can propose/strategize for future plot-request-sized efforts (and then do plot requests).

Not only here. And not to us. To the city guard, here and in other places. To assist and train so people are more prepared to deal with local issues while the Templars are focused on the March—that is what we've been told.

If the Templars are sending a representative to the city watch, should we reach out to the Inquisition mages and see if they want to do the same? It's not as if there's only one way to handle magical threats, and I doubt the watch will turn down the extra help.

I don't see a reason it couldn't be both. It would send two different messages. Anyone in the city knows we're here and lived through the attack; an invitation might encourage them, but they may not fully need it. Someone from outside shows ... balance, a bit. It looks less like someone sent to look over our shoulders and more as if we have multiple allies to call on in time of need.

[And if Cedric's point about affiliation is still true, well, all the more reason to dilute things a bit.]

Probably best not to give the appearance of micromanaging. I think it will somewhat depend on the temperaments of the particular individuals we end up with. Unless anyone feels differently, of course, but maybe see who we have before we make a firm decision.
