The Herald's Rest

As she orients herself to Skyhold, Teren spends a lot of her downtime in the Herald's Rest, having a drink and a meal or just sitting quietly and listening to the music and talk of the keep. She's a dour creature, but wears her warden blues to indicate her position and is open enough to friendly (or unfriendly) conversation.

Wherever

She can be anywhere you need her. Bonus if your character is doing something stupid that she can grump at them about.

At an hour many would consider indecent, Teren knocks against the door she knows to belong to the resident Thevenet. In one spindly hand is concealed a tiny missive, dictating her purpose for being here.

Bethany's gaze narrowed slightly, as she turned to look at the other woman with a slightly longer look. "I see - and you were not called in by Clarel, or were you working on other matters?"

She would pry no more than that, but it did strike her as ... odd.

"As I said," Teren replies patiently, though there's a faint note of terseness in her voice, "I had been summoned by Clarel, and was on my way. A family situation required my presence back east, and there I learned that Wardens were coming here, that the Calling is false."

"Oh, well! If there's anyone who can understand a family emergency, it's me." Bethany relaxed a little in her chair, giving the woman a sheepish sort of smile. "Is there anything else I can do for you, Warden?"

Teren shakes her head, not unkindly. "Thank you, Warden, but I shall be on my way. I imagine I'll see you about." With a small nod, she turns to take her leave of the library.

"I don't doubt it. I'm trying very hard to be helpful to the Inquisition so I'm all over the place." She flashed another smile, before she nodded in turn and let her leave.
