[ Victory, for Merrill, has always meant that the people they were meant to help and defend were safe, whether they were refugees or mages or her group of friends. As long as no one has been too seriously hurt, all of them have tasted sweet. This latest, though, is particularly good: the three dragons that had caused so much harm and scared so many in the Emprise have been defeated, and Merrill was able to help in the takedown of one.
She'd had ideas, good ideas. She'd been listened to. Magic and blades and mabari teeth had all flashed and sang and the dragon had fallen, and where Merrill isn't exactly known to make a ruckus, it makes her happy enough that she can be found celebrating -- at the tavern, because it had been insisted upon, but there's also some delighted humming and skipping through camp. This continues as Merrill starts on her journey back to Skyhold, ready for an adventure of a different sort; she's more than happy to chat with others on the road, or help if they need help.
In Skyhold itself, she can be seen with a little mongrel pup following at her heels. She is, if anything, a bit more subdued in the fortress; when she manages to navigate the twisting halls, she tends to be found in the library, trying to find anything and anything related to her people and to magic. It's a slow process, not in the least helped by her abysmal sense of direction or her willingness to be distracted by her dog, the weather, particularly nice stone work, and anyone who looks interesting. ]

I'm not actually sure what I would want in a trade, at least as far as items go. Maybe information? Though- I'm not sure what I don't know, so that's rather difficult. [ Merrill you're going to give yourself a headache. ] But of course you can have some!
Things can be tainted before or after the Blight, due to contact... it could be Corypheus. But it's better to know for sure, definitely! Especially if it is red lyrium; that stuff is awful.
[ someone please figure out red lyrium = blight lyrium thank you fade rift ]
Are you going to introduce them to each other, somehow?

What I find from my research, I can share with you. I share it with the Inquisition but you are welcome to come to my study, I am there most hours, should you remember the way. [Would you like a ball of twine, perhaps?]
Alistair still might be the best bet...he was present for the last Blight, not even any who joined directly after can say the same and so for any research that is to be done, he might provide some. Insight. Limited though it surely will be it.
[Her jaw nearly breaks from getting those words out.
Once the Wilds flowers I brought have grown, if only to calm any fears should others catch wind of it, then yes, tis a simple enough thing to do.
[Look she managed to bone Alistair without dying from disgust, save his life, the Hero's life, and Loghain's life, and net Urthemiel's soul for Kieran okay she can absolutely do this no problem.]

[ And as Morrigan seems like someone who very much values her privacy, it's also a rather touching gesture. ]
Sometimes people know things without knowing they know them. Even if it's limited, maybe we can put some pieces together with whatever he says.
[ It's meant to be soothing, to try and reassure Morrigan that despite Alistair's existence (which Merrill personally doesn't mind, but to each their own) the results are still up to her. ]
Flowers? I know the Keeper knew a recipe to help slow the spread of the Taint, but only for a bit -- I wonder if they're the same flowers.

[And Morrigan herself, once things are more settled, will be able to venture further when she is sure Kieran is safe again. A crow can fly far and fast, with few caring about it, and she has done that so many times these past ten years.]
White blossoms with a blood red centre that smell of honey, by any chance?

[ Merrill adores those birds. ]
Oh! Yes, that sounds familiar. From the south and east parts of Ferelden, right?

[Herself and Alistair included, Leliana why are you like this, Morrigan has a reputation to maintain.]
The Korcari Wilds are as southern as most maps chart, or as far as most civilised folk would dare to tread, since we have so many Wardens numbering amongst us, I am glad to have kept so many of the seeds with me over the years.

[ As if Morrigan would leave them out for nugs to find, but that's not the point. ]
My clan was in the Brecilian Forest, before we had to leave Ferelden -- there were several bunches of those flowers there, too. I wonder if perhaps we could add some of the flowers and herbs we know to help to Skyhold's gardens?
