WHO: fenris and those brave enough to face him.
WHAT: Angry elf. Nuff said.
WHEN: Backdated to a couple of days after the Anders reveal
WHERE: Anywhere in Skyhold
NOTES: Violent elf prone to outbursts seeks revenge. It's likely to get violent or sweary easily. Probably just as well Anders is out of the fortress...

It had taken him a couple of days to find out. His lack of reading ability had him missing the notice that had been put up, and it was only when he overheard a pair of mages talking about him that he put two and two together - and the news had him mad in an instant.

He never agreed with what Hawke had decreed was Anders' punishment. He was of the opinion that Anders should pay the ultimate price for his sins - for they were many. It was sheer arrogance to think that he would get away with it, scott free, even though he was assured that the Wardens were 'taking care of things'. Like Hawke took care of Anders, and the city burned in the aftermath.

"Abomination, show yourself!" He was furious as he stormed through the courtyard of Skyhold, sword in hand, intent on finding Anders and possibly choking the life out of him. Certainly ripping out his heart would be an option right now. He wanted to see if Justice would keep Anders alive long enough so that it was a satisfying death.

"If it doesn't tear itself apart first, yeah." That's a more gloomy prediction than Korrin's used to making, but she's in no mood to be fair. That the Inquisition couldn't put this matter to rest by imprisoning or executing the one responsible for Kirkwall can't bode well. "People aren't wrong that it has its fractures, and shit like this doesn't help. Unless Corypheus himself shows up at our front door again -as though we need a repeat of Haven- it might get worse before it gets better. But fuck, I can't tell people that they're wrong to be angry. I am."

She nods, her expression grimly sympathetic. "For someone who was actually there, who knew him, I wouldn't think so. Why did that Knight-Commander let Hawke decide? She saw an abomination blow up a Chantry and didn't immediately execute him? I don't get it." Yeah, the woman was crazy, but she also had a single-minded obsession about mages. Maybe Varric had left out something, but it was one thing in his tale that never made sense to her.

That insight gives Korrin pause and she nods thoughtfully, eyes narrowing a bit at the peek into Meredith's possible thought process. It makes about as much sense as anything else she's heard, and she'd trust the guess of someone who'd actually been there over random mass-guessing. "What a devious bitch. It sounds like she deserved what she got, in the end. Except the red lyrium part, that's...extreme. Having seen what that did to Emprise du Lion and the Red Templars there, I can't bring myself to wish it on anyone, no matter how much they might deserve it."

She shudders, genuinely disturbed by the red spikes jutting up from the ground, the pulsing red veins in the flesh of the Red Templars. It was the stuff of nightmares, though she'll keep those to herself.

"And...Hawke? Why did she spare him?"

Korrin nods, not especially satisfied with the answer but Fenris has told her as much as he could. "From what I've heard, he's not exactly remorseful so if the latter was her intention, it failed."

There's a brief, sharp scowl at that, not knowing or caring if that was influenced by the demon within. Did it even matter, considering the result?

"I'll do all I can to keep destroying the deposits I find, though it's starting to feel like a round of whack-a-mole. Smash one, and more surface."
