So bees aside.

Yes, there was a bit of a bee problem a few days ago in the room that Twisted Fate had acquired while Sera was gone. As he said, all was fair among fellow thieves, and he really doesn't need the room, but it's such a good location he thought he'd... borrow it awhile, at least until it stopped being funny. He isn't even sure he managed to get all of the bees out, but he does need to eventually plan a little strike back to her.

Post-birthday, anyway.

For now, there are drinks, there is cake -- red velvet, thank you -- and little paper hats for you!

Socialize, be merry. Twisted Fate is around somewhere, no doubt.

At this point, there are games to be had, as one might expect.

Wicked Grace and Diamondback are the popular choices, though Twisted Fate might encourage a few drinking games as well. Alternatively, perhaps you come up with your own game.

After all, he's never opposed to try something new.

Plenty of people, perhaps even yourself, has probably taken in so much drink by this point that nothing is quite even and thinking is hard. But it's all in good fun.

Of course Korrin arrives, and she arrives early. There's little she enjoys more than celebrating with a friend, and after the times they've had lately, they're both in desperate need of something less dire. A birthday gathering seems the perfect diversion, one she can't resist.

The Vashoth mage arrives with a long, slim box and glances around for Twisted Fate. This is something she would feel the need to deliver personally, not leave in a gift pile for later. And those paper hats are noted, but as they aren't suited for qunari heads, she'll (thankfully) have a good excuse to pass.

"Anyone seen Amumu? He's supposed to be arranging the cake, but I'm going to assume someone's locked him out of the kitchen -- or worse, in it." He likes hiring dwarven entertainers, but they're either surly or easy to miss, it seems. Maybe it's just Fate's luck.

But then, it's hard to miss Korrin, and when he sees her Twisted Fate smiles brightly.

"Spitfire! I assumed you'd come, but you're early. Not much happening at the moment." He glances at the box, and his brow raises.

"Not that I'm not curious..." And not that it isn't a birthday, but he still can't help but feel a little surprised.

Korrin waves off lack of exciting events for the time being. "You're all the entertainment I could ask for, Fate. Besides, I wanted to make sure you got this while I was still sober."

She'll set the box down at the nearest table and reclines against it. Within are garments crafted of dragon hide; a long jacket, boots and gloves.

"Good, because I am the most entertaining person in the Inquisition, really. Let's be honest with ourselves. But that's fair, and I appreciate that."

The box is worked open easily enough, and the inside is not exactly what he'd expected. Twisted Fate is quiet for a second, running his fingers down the leather of the coat, the feeling of the dragon hide.

"Oh... Korrin."

Twisted Fate greatly approves, and for a moment he doesn't know what to say. He'd gifted Korrin before and that felt natural, but to have something given to him like this is still a surprise.

"I wish I had something more eloquent to say than thank you, but-- thank you, truly. This is wonderful."

Korrin smiles broadly, glad that she could return the favor with one of the best quality hides. It's why she wears it, after all "Thank me by wearing it around rage demons or fire-breathing dragons. That ought to shield you from the flames rather well. You know, in addition to the fashion statement."

Which is more important is up to him, but she'll rest easier knowing she gave him something protective. "What, you didn't think I'd kill a dragon and fail to pass along the bounty at some point, did you?"

"More the fashion for me. I don't plan on running into dragons anytime soon, but I suppose it'll be inevitable one of these days, hm?" He laughs softly.

"No, never. You had asked, after all. This is more than I could have ever expected. It's a fine gift, Korrin; you have my thanks."

Stepping in close, Korrin slips an arm around Fate and gives him a squeeze. Not to the point of bruising, of course. "You're welcome, Fate. And if you do get into dragon-hunting, you'd better tell me. I wouldn't miss that for anything. As it is, we should seek out trouble together sometime. The good kind, not the aggravating crap we've all had lately. Something fun."

The affection is well accepted; he wraps an arm around her waist, returning the brief hug. "Oh, I wouldn't get into dragon-anything without you, rest assured."

That's a suggestion for fun? It is. Twisted Fate grins sharply and says, "Absolutely. I'm planning on it, actually. A bit of a prank spree, I think, is in order. It's far too serious around here, I think. I'd like your help, come to think of it."

Korrin's wide grin is immediate. "A chance to be in on the action instead of just on the receiving end? Hell yes, count me in. Just let me know when you want to do this, and I'll be there." And perhaps with her own unique ideas, depending on the recipient.

"Well, perhaps in a few days. I'm sure things will find a way to be dreary again in no time, let's be honest." Maybe five more elves will be put into jail by that time.

"I'll keep you informed."

"Good. That's all we can do, isn't it? Fight the enroaching dreariness as it comes. But I didn't stop here to bring down the mood, so you'll have to tell me of what possible targets you have in mind. Maybe I can add a few." She'll try not to limit the list to Templars, honest.

"Creators, I have a list. Don't worry, it'll be shared in all good time. But I've been plotting a bit. But I would deeply encourage you to find other methods if mine don't suit you."

"Oh, I will. Not that yours won't be worth seeing, but adding personal touches is part of the fun, isn't it? I can't leave that all in your hands, nor would I want to." Korrin flashes a grin; whatever Fate intends, he won't be carrying it all on his own. It's more fun if they're true partners.
