So bees aside.

Yes, there was a bit of a bee problem a few days ago in the room that Twisted Fate had acquired while Sera was gone. As he said, all was fair among fellow thieves, and he really doesn't need the room, but it's such a good location he thought he'd... borrow it awhile, at least until it stopped being funny. He isn't even sure he managed to get all of the bees out, but he does need to eventually plan a little strike back to her.

Post-birthday, anyway.

For now, there are drinks, there is cake -- red velvet, thank you -- and little paper hats for you!

Socialize, be merry. Twisted Fate is around somewhere, no doubt.


♠ EARLY EVENING.

At this point, there are games to be had, as one might expect.

Wicked Grace and Diamondback are the popular choices, though Twisted Fate might encourage a few drinking games as well. Alternatively, perhaps you come up with your own game.

After all, he's never opposed to try something new.


♠ LATE, LATE, LATE.

Plenty of people, perhaps even yourself, has probably taken in so much drink by this point that nothing is quite even and thinking is hard. But it's all in good fun.

With a big sigh, Twisted Fate has a drink from his tankard. A long one at that.

"Granted, I was testing out the form. Beleth shot first, I'll have you know. But, don't be too hard on her. She didn't know at the time, Nerva."

"I didn't threaten you, I said that I wouldn't miss the next time I--" She paused as Nerva spoke up, slowly glancing over at her and feeling a little bit like a deer in the headlights. Or a halla. Or. You know. She put her hands up defensively, but Fate was already speaking up for her. How thoughtful of him.

"I saw a wolf heading towards the tavern. What was I supposed to do? And I apologized." And shoved him around. And yelled at him. Details.

"--And while I wasn't threatening you, I regularly threatened Sorrel every day of his life, including our birthday, so." And she drinks to that. But not to Sera's comment, because haha mages, though her lips twist slightly. It's hard to tell if it's in amusement or not.

"You were testing out a form. Near the tavern. And then she shot at you."

She didn't drink, because. Magic. Also tricks. But mostly magic.

"How would a real wolf get inside the castle in the first place? And why were you shapeshifting into a wolf?"

Oh right. The game.

"Never have I ever felt it necessary to endanger myself recklessly without back-up or supervision from people who would protect me." Not strictly true but true enough that she believed it wholeheartedly.

Sera...okay. She has to drink to Nerva's thing. Jenny life was hard. But she doesn't offer anything new, just looking at Fate.

"Running 'round and pissing off Templars and the...elfy bits. Now ain't that a thing."

"Nerva, really-- please don't do that thing with your brows." He actually sort of... feels bad now. He doesn't want to feel that way.

Twisted Fate has a slow drink from Nerva's statement. Alas.

"I'm full of surprises," Fate comments to Sera. "Never have I ever thrown a jar of bees?"

"He has a gift." Beleth informs Sera primly. A gift for pissing off multiple people in one go, at least. Although... pissed off wasn't quite accurate, for Nerva. Hmm. She glances at Nerva, expression thoughtful, but says nothing.

She drinks to reckless endangerment of self, but not to jars of bees because who throws jars of bees??? Fate is given a very puzzled look. "Do you run into that often...?"

Pissed off, indeed, wasn't quite it, and her brows furrowed further when Fate told her to stop doing that 'thing' with them. She raised a hand, fingers pressing to her forehead to try to determine what that 'thing' could be, exactly, because she wasn't trying to do a thing.

"I'm not doing anything, that is just my face," she complains, lowly, to no one in particular, and probably only outloud because she's had a few drinks, at this point.

She doesn't drink to the bees. Bees? Really?

"Who throws a jar of bees? How do you even get them in there--"

Sera is drinking as the other two react, just gulping away.

"By putting them, 'course. Pissed things when they get out, yeah? Twisty here could say."

"That I could, and I suspect it's something you enjoy doing more than once, Sera."

That gets a sharp look - a confused one, but still sharp.

"Did she throw a jar of bees at you?" She asked, in a tone that clearly meant 'do I have to cut her?'.

"She threw a jar of bees at you?" Beleth echoed, in a tone a great deal more delighted than Nerva's.

Beleth Greatly Approves.

"It wouldn't be that hard to get them in there, really. You smoke them, and the bees become sedated. It'd be pretty simple to put them in there during that period of time. But you would have a limited period of time before they died, unless you put honey in there as well...?" She slowly turned towards Sera, scooting her chair over a little more. "Did you put the bees in there?" She looks Extremely Interested.

Twisted Fate should probably feel the universe grow just a little more darker.

"The bee grenade's a weapon of the Inquisition. Thanks to some clever me."

Sorry, Nerva. She's too busy basking in her own (and Beleth's) pride to care about this maybe threat.

"But no saying, what other grand things the bees've been up to since, yeah?"

Twisted Fate, meanwhile, greatly approves of Nerva's protectiveness. It's terribly sweet of her.

"Well, more accurately, she threw it into a room." The room he stole, but that's not really worth bringing up right at the moment.

"Weren't we playing a game here, or are we going to keep talking about bees? Flushed most of them out, for the record, Sera. Happily off to whatever hive they're clustering in."

"Never have I ever wilfully endangered my comrades," Nerva snapped, glaring at everyone but Fate, because damn it, it was his birthday and she was trying to be good and not start fights but how was she supposed to do that when she found out that they were throwing bees at each other.

And turning into wolves and shooting at each other and--

Seriously.

"So, anyone can get them...? Like, you can just go and order a jar of bees?" Beleth's eyebrows slowly rise, musing on the various implications of this new information. Well. She opens her mouth to say something else, glances over at Nerva, and closes her mouth. Perhaps openly musing on possible targets in front of her would be a bad idea. Instead, she muses on what Nerva said, and declines against drinking. "I didn't know he was anything but a wolf." She reminds Nerva primly. "It's hardly my fault that he didn't take any measures to make sure people knew that he was anything but what he appeared to be."

Sera drinks, drinks, drinks at Nerva's bit, giggling after. Then she, very obviously, points at Beleth, makes a buzzing sounds (like a Bee, get it?), then points to her own chest. Come to her, apprentice. She will hook you up.

"Willfully...all that. Big words for had a bit of fun. You musta had that once in your life, yeah?"
