[She tilted her head a little, suddenly aware of her own hunger.]
I would prefer them to see the Armour, than the face. It makes dealing with them easier.

[One bit, two bit, three bit on the skewer. Ask nice and maybe she'll share.]
Now they'll just stare at your tits to see their own reflection in it.
no subject
You say that as if its a bad thing. I am perfectly happy if they are distracted enough to shut up and listen.
But it's not for me. Fate needs to be seen from a position of strength, with his clan, or they will walk all over him. I intend to ensure that they don't attempt it.

[They listen about how awesome and persecuted they are and how all the elves doing anything else aren't real ones. Blegh.]
We're shem. Might as well be leaches on his arse.
no subject
Disrespect is one thing. I expect that. But even family is known to be dangerous. All I can do is look more dangerous than they are.
no subject
[The knight in shinning armor. She can only hope it all ends in Fate being carried off into the sunset.]
no subject
She felt far too naked, here.
Instead she cleared her throat.]
I'm no Lady. Nor even a Templar, any longer. My sword is the Inquisition's.
no subject
[Learn new things everyday. But she's kept the food bit on the very tip of her skewer too close to the fire, and swears viciously as she pulls it own and blows on it to put out the sudden fire it had caught on.]
no subject
I - swore my sword to Cassandra. That should be enough for anyone.
[When Sera swears, she's half up out of her seat before she realises what it was about, and then offered her a small half smile.]
Those looked burned. Here. Allow me.
[She took a couple snacks of her own out of her pack, and then held out her hand for the skewer.]
no subject
[Sera quickly passes over the skewer so she can free herself up for a bit of giggling.]
Oh, that's grand. She take the sword fast, did she? Had you on your knees for the vows? That's-
Oh, hell. That's all in my head now.
[Hot. That was hot. But how dare Cass be getting more ladies on their knees than her?]
no subject
Great. It was in her head now, too.
She cleared her throat, remembering the last conversation she'd had with Cassandra. Well.]
I think that particular fantasy is on the more unlikely side of things. [It was said wryly.]
Do you - know her well?
no subject
[Not that Sera had any idea what that last bit was. Cassandra had an unfortunate thing for cocks instead of ladies. Pity, but Sera could respect it. Still, it was fun to tease the underlings.]
no subject
... No. Mere curiosity. I - have never met anyone like her. She does not seem to have time to rest.
[She held the skewer above the fire, gazing into it.]
I - merely wish her friendship. That is all.
no subject
[Hands free, Sera goes back to rummaging in her pack.]
Needs sleep. Needs food. Needs to get some fun in bed. Not that her Lady Bits will say it. If you're all hers, all on you to tell her, yeah? That's friends. Saying the bits they don't want to hear.
no subject
... Yes. That is indeed what friends are. I am just not certain that I am in a position to be her friend. She is, after all, my superior officer. There comes a - necessary distance, with that.
no subject
[It's not just a noise. Her tongue comes out with it too, a full raspberry at the very idea.]
There's orders, then there's the rest. She says stab something? Stab it. Don't have shit to do with making sure she eats more than faith and justice. She's a good one. But been a noble all her life. On her own she don't see the things that need seeing to lead this mess.
[The noble bit is said almost pityingly, like Cass had been born into some horrible disadvantage by being in line for the throne. Which, for Sera, was true. She was blinded to what it meant to just be a person. Not like the Herald at all.]
no subject
... You are right, of course. I will - do what I can. But I am not sure I am a good influence on anyone, in that regard. Even my charges tend to bristle at being told to eat their vegetables.
no subject
[Not on Cass, but that wasn't the point. Sera gives a small crow of victory as she pulls out her wine skin and offers it over.]
no subject
Later, she would realise it, and she would thank Sera. But in the moment, she wasn't aware.]
Ah - I believe the Seeker is more of a ... romantic than that. [Especially after what Cassandra had said when she found out about Nerva's feelings for Fate...]
I am not sure I would be willing to withstand the glare I would receive, for 'showing some tit'.
no subject
If you get desperate and try, lemme know, yeah? Her face! Ha! I'd give Bull's left nut to see.
no subject
[She pulls the skewer from the flames, and gently checks the morsels - perfectly browned, and warm. Carefully, she takes two off, and holds them out for Sera.]
Here. Better?
no subject
[ There's more to say, but she puts it on pause for now. Instead Sera bites her lip for a moment, thinking, thinking...
Blegh. Who thinks? She leans the few inches in and nips one bit right out of Nerva's palm, tip of her tongue just brushing against the skin. She pulls back with a grin that wide enough to pull a muscle.]
no subject
If she was another person, she would make a joke about Sera eating out of the palm of her hand, but she isn't and the words don't come right so she doesn't try.]
I'll take that as a yes, then.
no subject
[But the lady fair didn't blush or swoon, and Sera was an offerer, not a pusher. So the next bit she just picks up with her fingers. She'll deal with... frustrations later.]
Got it bad, is it?
no subject
Sorry? [She asked as she tried to follow where that thread of conversation originated from.]
