[ OPEN ] Here we are...
WHO: Lena Meravas, Taaranda Olanat and YOU!
WHAT: Two mercenary Vashoth (not Qunari, ya fools) arrive dirty and tired to Skyhold, where they settle in and await bear hugs from Korrin.
WHEN: early Bloomingtide
WHERE: all over Skyhold
NOTES: These two are part of the Valo-Kas mercenary company. If your character knew Korrin from before her time in the Inquisition, chances are they would know Lena too, and Taaranda if they came across the Valo-Kas in the last two years.

By the time the path before them opens up to reveal the valley dotted with tents, the raised ground off to the side with huts being constructed, and the stronghold itself, Lena can't help but shout: "About fucking time!" She and Taaranda are arriving on foot, and the mountain is a bitch to climb, but they've done it, and now they just need to get inside and put their feet up somewhere.
The two are a strange sight as they pass through the various camps outside Skyhold. Of course there are whispers of an upcoming Qunari invasion, but the women splattered with mud barely pay them any heed. Apparently there is always a Qunari invasion on the horizon when someone with horns steps into a person's eye line.
The younger of the two has boundless energy, it appears, eyes darting around to take it all in. She expresses excitement to the older one, who looked vaguely bored, but maybe it's just the fact that she's bone tired.
"Bring it down a notch," Lena says as they enter the gate and the lower courtyard of Skyhold spreads before them. "Unless you want to run around and find us the tavern. Or Korrin." Over the next few hours, the women settle in, explore the place, and start to meet new people anywhere and everywhere within Skyhold.
[ ooc: please say in the subject line if you want a threeway thread with both, or separate threads with each, or just pick one lady. whatever you'd prefer! set the scene at any location in skyhold too; they're exploring! ]
THREEWAY, BABY.
It doesn't take her long to overhear worried mutters about a 'Qunari invasion', which she's stopped hearing ever since people got used to seeing herself, Kas and the other usual suspects around. She tries not to get her hopes up too much, knowing that the Valo-Kas aren't the only 'qunari' out there, but the coincidences is too much to prevent her from glancing around every so often. If they don't spot her, she'll see them sooner or later.

Despite any potential sour looks thrown their way, Taaranda still looks chipper as she marches along still full of energy alongside Lena. She gazes around the camps curiously, her eyes catching onto the Grey Warden insignia as they pass by, as well as the obvious refugees that are about.
But there it is: Skyhold. More impressive in person than it ever was on paper.
Her eyes scan over the crowd, and it is impossible to mistake Korrin for anyone else here. Taaranda grins broadly and rushes through to reach the mage.
"KORRIN! Lena! Lena, look!" Taaranda throws her arms around Korrin by the waist and lifts her up. "I found her!!" she says, downright pleased with herself.

"All I can do is fucking look, now that you've made me go deaf, Taar." Still, she sounds more amused than annoyed, seeing how Korrin is currently being lifted in the air. "Well, we're finally here," she announces, stopping beside them, hands on her hips. "Ready for drinks, if you ask me." And hugs, she's sure.

For the moment, she can do little else but hold onto Taaranda so she doesn't ruin her dignity further by flailing. She laughs, or tries to, though that isn't easily accomplished in Taaranda's death grip of love. "'Kay, but...air! Andraste's ass, I swear you got stronger." Lena, help.
...she's just going to keep smirking isn't she.

Three works!
It's when he's done with his current task and ducks out of the tent to go for a quick tea run that he sees what's likely the cause and can't help but smile faintly. Two? That's an invasion? It's a good thing the woman had never been near Kirkwall.
"May I suggest signs that say something along the lines of 'not actually invading?' Provided you're not. There are a few who are prone to overreacting in the area."

i'm gonna assume eventual fourway tbh;
Two ladies of the horned persuasion are certainly more interesting than most and once they're through the gate, they're confronted by a young rifter woman, scrambling down just enough so she can jump the rest of the way to land with a flourish.
"Araceli Bonaventura, at your service," she greets, giving them a bow because she has manners of course. "Can I assist you ladies?"
no subject
And man, she has great tits. She should really just jump down from high places all the time so they bounce like that.
Anyway, Lena tears her gaze from that distraction to say "Lena. Heard a lot about you."
no subject
"You're Araceli!" she says with all of the excitement of a groupie following Zither! around. Taaranda grips Lena's arm, looking much more innocently pleased to meet the rifter.
A hand is thrust out toward Araceli, offered in a handshake. "Taaranda! Korrin's written to us about you. You're so pretty! Just like she said."
no subject
"So you're the reason she's had an extra spring in her step then, and here it was thinking she was just happy to have me back again," she teases because surely they must understand that Inquisition life unfortunately means you don't always get to spend time with the people you'd like to be spending time with. "And I will have to make sure Korrin is rewarded for speaking so kindly of me but she didn't tell me when you would both be arriving! I would have cooked for you as her friends for I am sure you both share a love of food that actually tastes like food and not boiled leather in a pot pretending to be food, how did you find the journey to Skyhold?"
By the way she talks. A lot. And she's actually pretty nervous meeting Korrin's sisters in the same way she'd be if the queensguard from home or Leandra were to fall through a rift and suddenly need to be introduced to Korrin. Hopefully Korrin hasn't felt the need to mention the extent of Araceli's grasp of Qunlat or where exactly she saw fit to try out the newest phrase she picked up.

threeway! (or fourway, if Korrin wants to join)
Kas also cannot help being a bit shy about it, because who knew where they were from or if they could even be Qunari like the Iron Bull.
So have a small and skinny boy curiously staring at you two, dressed in a scout uniform with his hood down and wee horn nubs sticking through white hair.

"Vashoth, four o'clock. Think it's that Kas kid Korrin's talked about." Because there aren't many of them in the Inquisition, and Korrin's pretty much claimed him.
no subject
Well, no time like to present!
Taaranda bolts off to go meet him. "Hi there! You must be Kas!"
no subject
"Uh, yeah. I'm Kas." This had to be Korrin's friends, right? Nobody else would know his name that quickly. "Uh, welcome to Skyhold?"

Three by three
He keeps one hand on the dog and lifts the other in a wave, smile wide and a little fond. "Run outta things to kill?"
no subject
"Pretty much. That or the job involved not killing, and that just isn't our style, is it Taar?"
no subject
"Right! If there isn't anyone left to kill, then might as well come here and see if they can point us in the next direction. Thedas still has too many Red Templars, if you ask me."

SURE ALL THREE!
Kain is following close behind. He sighs, shaking his head wearily as he realizes exactly why Bastard had suddenly gotten excited and taken off like that. It might be because the two strangers resemble Korrin... who knows what goes through the bird's head?
"My apologies about this," Kain says to the newcomers. He whistles, the parrot flying down to perch on his shoulder.

"Maker's saggy balls..."
Threeway, yeah baby [sorry I'm late]
It's just outside the tavern that he finally spots them, making sure he's seen when he walks up so that he doesn't startle anyone. "Greetings. I don't suppose you're from the Valo-Kas are you?"

Lena
The new Tal-Vashoth were bound to get his attention. Even if he had gotten used to seeing them around, there was still something so unusual about feeling comfortable and relaxed around someone who looked like a Qunari. Maybe that was just the Tevinter in him. He'd have to work on it.
"Did you say Korrin? I know her. She's good friends with my, um, my girlfriend." Saying that word is even more unusual than seeing a horned woman though. Maybe because it made him feel odd butterflies in his stomach. "I could try to help you find her, if you haven't any better leads by now."
no subject
"Seems like Korrin knows every person in this place, and is friends with nearly all of them too." She rolls her eyes, but it's out of affection for her friend. "Korrin could probably befriend a pit of snakes." Meanwhile, Lena would be waiting to the side to use some of those snakes for their venom. She's big on poisons.
"Sure. Not like I've got any other plans."
no subject
"Let's try the tavern first?" he suggests. "It tends to be a popular destination." He realizes that he he wishes he knew more about Korrin's schedule. As it was, he spent most of his time away from the castle.
