[ OPEN ] Here we are...
WHO: Lena Meravas, Taaranda Olanat and YOU!
WHAT: Two mercenary Vashoth (not Qunari, ya fools) arrive dirty and tired to Skyhold, where they settle in and await bear hugs from Korrin.
WHEN: early Bloomingtide
WHERE: all over Skyhold
NOTES: These two are part of the Valo-Kas mercenary company. If your character knew Korrin from before her time in the Inquisition, chances are they would know Lena too, and Taaranda if they came across the Valo-Kas in the last two years.

By the time the path before them opens up to reveal the valley dotted with tents, the raised ground off to the side with huts being constructed, and the stronghold itself, Lena can't help but shout: "About fucking time!" She and Taaranda are arriving on foot, and the mountain is a bitch to climb, but they've done it, and now they just need to get inside and put their feet up somewhere.
The two are a strange sight as they pass through the various camps outside Skyhold. Of course there are whispers of an upcoming Qunari invasion, but the women splattered with mud barely pay them any heed. Apparently there is always a Qunari invasion on the horizon when someone with horns steps into a person's eye line.
The younger of the two has boundless energy, it appears, eyes darting around to take it all in. She expresses excitement to the older one, who looked vaguely bored, but maybe it's just the fact that she's bone tired.
"Bring it down a notch," Lena says as they enter the gate and the lower courtyard of Skyhold spreads before them. "Unless you want to run around and find us the tavern. Or Korrin." Over the next few hours, the women settle in, explore the place, and start to meet new people anywhere and everywhere within Skyhold.
[ ooc: please say in the subject line if you want a threeway thread with both, or separate threads with each, or just pick one lady. whatever you'd prefer! set the scene at any location in skyhold too; they're exploring! ]

"Lead on."

Felix is more than happy to help with that. He can look around and see if there's anyone around he knows too. That and the noise of a crowd helps with the Calling.
"The Herald's Rest is this way." He sometimes wonders about such a depressing name. Every time he says it he thinks of the woman who came to his father and fought her way through the twisted future that Dorian had described. He thinks about how she was buried under so much snow and rubble. It's rather morbid really. He'd rather focus on something more happy.
"How long have you known Korrin, if you don't mind me asking?" He wasn't sure how far she was from the Qun and how she'd take to a Tevinter asking her questions.

"Seven, eight years maybe? We're in the same mercenary company." The same that had been running security at the Conclave, but Lena had booked it out of there as soon as she was sure that her brother was well and truly dead from the explosion. She needed to go find people to kill, and hadn't been thinking clearly enough to stick around and see if she could kill people for the Inquisition.

"Yeah."
And she leaves it at that as they make their way up the stairs, heading towards the tavern. But once at the top of the stairs, she mutters, "Left once we figured out who we lost."

"Yeah, may as well." She doesn't say thanks, but she hardly ever does.

She stands out, even if there are a handful of their people here, each one still manages to be noticeable.

"Yeah. What is it? Three floors? Looked like it from the outside."

"Haven't sat in ages," she says, before taking a long swig of her drink. The trek up to Skyhold had been long and tiresome, because she and Taaranda walked up instead of riding.

"What brought you to the Inquisition? Are you just here to catch up with your friend or are you looking to join?"

"I certainly hope so. I'd imagine your punch has quite the power behind it, but we wouldn't want you fighting the Venatori with just your bare hands."

"I've got knives, but I'll need ingredients for poisons and my flasks. Need new boots too." Now she's just acting like Felix is the quartermaster and will personally hook her up.

Then, after a moment. "I'm afraid I'm not a member of the Inquisition myself, but you'd likely be able to get boots and access to the apothecary once you join."
no subject
"So if you aren't in the Inquisition, why're you here?"
