In this moment he believes that she feels for them, for so many who had hurt and suffered, and he accepts it. She's not a mage. But she's an ally. When he'd told the Hero of Fereldan he'd been one of the lucky ones, one who had avoided that, he'd meant it, and he'd... expected a reaction a little more like this, despite how he'd tried to make it seem like it was nothing. It isn't.

"This is why we must have equality for all. Mage, Dalish, Rifter. No group can become the target, to be hunted or abused. The Circles cannot come back, the Chantry must change. This is why I still fight, and why I cannot stop. People must be seen as people." And it is a long road, a difficult road, but it has to be taken.

"You stand with us, as we should stand with you." No more false imprisonment, no random wild accusations, no attacks. It needs to stop. "We cannot let this happen ever again to anyone else."
