WHO: Cyril & Merrick + OPEN (Starters so far for Taas and Sam. If you want one let me know!)
WHAT: Cyril and Merrick have been searching for Metaari. After finding his bow with bandits, Cyril is finally able to convince Merrick to return. They arrive at Kirkwall fifteen minutes late with Starbucks. (not really, they just have one extra giant ass bow and crushed hopes)
WHEN: Shortly after everyone else arrived at Kirkwall
WHERE: You know, around.
NOTES: So "I'll just go on hiatus for a couple weeks to play Andromeda," I said. "I'm sure after I beat it once I'll be able to return to RP." Hahaha. Then I looked around and four weeks had passed and I hadn't done a single thing in RP, or cleaned my house, or gone to the store for food... ANYWAY so here's my return and I have a good excuse because Cyril would try help his brother find his missing lover. You can thread with either Merrick or Cyril here. Cyril had been keeping in touch with others in the Inquisition over the sending crystals, which turned out to be lucky because it meant that when they finally could return they didn't accidentally trek all the way back to Skyhold only to have to turn around and head north again.

They hadn't found any sign of Metaari, except for the bow that was unmistakable. That, they had recovered from bandits - bandits who claimed to have just "come across" it and who were all very, very dead now.

Cyril feels exhausted and thread bare from worry. Merrick isn't going to be okay with the fact that they still don't know for sure what happened and the giant bow Merrick's carrying around feels much more like a way to pry at the wound rather than closure.

"You look wonderful when you are flushed and sweaty," Cyril points out. "And I'm assuming I do as well, because I always look good."

"So do I not look wonderful when I'm not flushed and sweaty?" he asks back, grinning wide, playing Cyril's game.

"I think you look wonderful all of the time," Cyril pointed out. "Gorgeous, really."

Cyril's compliments have the mage chuckling, quietly though considering his eyes cannot stop taking in the elf's features. "Maker I did miss you."

Cyril beams at the way that Sam is looking at him. "Well good, because I missed you too and we can do... whatever you want to enjoy being back together." He puts the pause and emphasis there to ensure that Sam get's his meaning and rests a hand on Sam's chest.

He definitely gets where Cyril is going with that, giving an amused huff as he looks down at Cyril, looping his arms loosely around his waist. "Whatever? Or do you mean something specifically that you want?"

"Yes, whatever." He puts a hand on Sam's chest. "And while I might want to push you down onto a bed and ride you for hours, it's up to you what we do. Even if that's something more innocent."

Alright, so he might be getting better about the blushing, but he's still not that good, not when Cyril says something like that in the middle of the street. Sam coughs lightly, clearing his throat, trying to hide it a bit. "Isn't this supposed to be a compromise of things we both want? Not just what I want to do?" Like he isn't saying 'no' to that idea ~~he certainly wants to do that~~, but they could do other things and that.

Cyril takes Sam's hand and leans up a bit to kiss him lightly. "Right now, what I want is what you want. I want to know that I made you feel comfortable and happy." He speaks the words softly while he's still lingering by Sam's face.

Sam chuckles lightly at that, leaning down to meet Cyril half way for the kiss and grinning right back at him. "Well... what if I said I want what you want, but doing something perhaps a bit more innocently before that?"

"I think that sounds a bit like a date," Cyril replies, amused. "What innocent thing would you like to do?"

"A date? Really?" By the tone of his voice and the look he's giving, it is obvious that he knows what it sounds like. "Well how much of Kirkwall have you seen?"

"Not much. I got back and looked for you right away," Cyril admitted. "I haven't had much time to explore."

"Came looking for me as soon as you got here? I'm touched. Well, we could look around the market and browse wares and I could give you somewhat of a tour of the city. Not a lot of places I've wandered off to I'm afraid."

Cyril nodded at that. "Of course I came looking for you. After what you went through? Did you... did you want to talk about it a bit? I know we did over the crystals but it's different now that I'm here in the flesh." He took Sam's hand. "Unless you'd rather not talk about it. In that case, I'm all for shopping."

The mention of his time in the future sours his smile, but only slightly, looking a tad sad and perhaps a bit guilty considering while Cyril was away most of their conversations had been about that. "Not right now...? I've spent a lot of time talking about it with the others as well, and I've mostly come to terms with it. Perhaps later, but I'd rather just enjoy you being here at this time."

Cyril nodded and leaned in closer to kiss Sam's cheek. He had to push up on his tip toes to reach. "All right. You lead the way then."

Sam doesn't lean down this time, not a lot at least, since he does find it cute when Cyril has to get on his toes. Not that he's said that out loud. "Hm. Well, have you eaten? I'm still working my way around figuring where to eat and not to eat."

"Let's find something to eat then." Honestly, he had been too worried to keep things down so far. Maybe being with Sam will relax him.

"Shall we then?" he asks, smiling as he offers an arm. Once they start down the road Sam is quiet for a few seconds, taking in this moment, before raising his brows curiously at Cyril. "Do you know where you're staying while we're here in Kirkwall?"

"Not quite. I probably should hang around Merrick for a bit, until he figures out how he's going to deal anyway. We shared a room in Skyhold so we might be able to find something together here..."

Sam nods at that. "That might be a good idea." Not just because Cyril and Merrick had lived together for so long, but since it sounded like Merrick would need the support. "The Inquisition has plenty of space at the docks and the gallows so it shouldn't be hard to find anything for two people. I can't say it's the best... housing, but decent for the time being. I'm enjoying having a door at least."

"A door, hm?" Cyril asked, grinning. "Still with Kirk? Or do you have your own space now?"

"Living in a space where you didn't have one makes one really appreciate having it." And they certainly did not have one back in the loft, but at least the seclusion of it's location helped. "Still living with Kirk," he confirms, grinning right back. "Bigger room, too."

"Do we need to put a tie around the door handle if we're spending time in an intimate way."
