WHO: Kain and OPEN
WHAT: Kain gets some very interesting whiskey to try out
WHEN: Now-ish
WHERE: Gallows dining area
NOTES: Firebreathing!!

It's one of those chilly nights that's better spent inside. Kain has been more or less stuck in the area since getting snowed in. Conditions around the city are improving, but it's still not great to return to the mountains. So, of course, it's time to bust out the strong drinks.

He's brought a few drinks of his own along this evening, including one that he'd picked up at some point during the travels to Nevarra. Labeled Dragongut alongside a drawing of a dragon, it was mysterious when he bought it, and it's just as peculiar now. Apparently it's some sort of whiskey though. He's got to admit, he's interested. So, he pours himself some, drinking it straight without mixing anything else in.

"Ah, that's... strong. Strong, but good..." He suddenly makes a face, eyes widening as he's hit with a weird indigestion sensation. There's no use holding it back for long. He gets up abruptly and backs away, opening his mouth wide as an impressive burst of flames very suddenly blasts out. The whole display only lasts a couple of moments at most, and fortunately doesn't catch anything... but it's definitely not an everyday sight in the gallows at dinner.

Think of Potato, Kain. And Inessa. And her very cute mabari.

"Provided you don't set yourself and everything around you on fire first." Please don't try this in the woods or in a town or anywhere rather flammable. "Not to mention find a way to carry that bottle into the field and fight with it without it breaking." Sorry Kain, Carver is a party pooper.

"You might want to see if the liquid does anything to skin or clothes before you do that." Carver wonders if the drink itself, poured onto skin or anything, would be dangerous. Maybe not, but he sees it all too easily: the flask breaks, leaks onto skin and clothes, and something bad happens.
