WHO: Fenris, Cyril, and Adasse (it's an elf trip!!)
WHAT: Assignment: A Favor for a Favor
WHEN: Early/mid this month
WHERE: Tevinter, specifically somewhere on the road between Carestes and Minrathous
NOTES: I mean it's TEVINTER. They're dealing with slavery here, so there may be warnings from that. Violence is a given. Also probably lots of Tevene swearing.

Fenris readjusts his hood as they wait. It's a necessity to keep as covered as possible whenever he returns here, for obvious reasons. He really does sometimes question the Inquisition for sending him back to this place, the one place he despises most of all… But there's sense to it. He knows the language better than most anyone else they have. He knows the culture of their enemy, as vile as it is, understands exactly what they're up against. His insider knowledge is worth the risk, so it would seem.
"They should be coming this way soon... Are we set?"
He looks to the others, wanting to confirm they're ready before they split to take up their positions. They'd spent a while setting up this plan, and now, it's time to put it into action. A trap is set to break down the caravan, delaying them long enough for Fenris to launch his distraction. He's relying on the others and their stealthier approaches to really balance things out in the meantime. They'd found out that there are quite a few guards on these slaves, as Mettius Cotta isn't one to take too many chances. They'll have to ensure that none of the slavers ride off to spread word about what's happening, as well. That means they'll need to take out any extra riders they've got alongside the main carriage. There can be no witnesses. No survivors.
Word can't get back about the Inquisition's involvement. That's the critical factor here... anything else that happens is really up to them. Fenris, of course, is all for a bloody approach… but he knows they must balance that out, as well. That's entirely the reason why he's got the other two with him.

But he'd spotted Adasse too, and his position tells him all he needs to know. So he's continuing with the distraction, then, letting him have a chance to sneak in close enough to finish this. Fenris shouts a taunt in Tevene to keep the mage's attention focused on him, phasing out momentarily as the mage shoots off a blast of crackling lightning in his direction.

He saluted Fenris with his dagger. Go on, finish off the other nitwit.

As he pulls his sword free and returns to normal, he glances toward the others, and takes a look around in general. He adds, dryly, "Looks like quite the bandit attack unfolded, I hear they're especially terrible around here... They really should have taken more precautions."

Otherwise, bandit attack would be thrown right out of the window. They had to rob them, but blind.

He makes sure that they are uninjured and that they know they are safe with the trio of elves who are here now. He isn't entirely sure how they feel about having a Dalish elf with them, but they don't seem to be flinching away from him so that's a good sign.
