"I'm not sure. It's my first time."
That was probably a mistake.

She sighs. Okay. They're doing this. "Well, did it feel good?"

"Does anything about being human actually feel good-- People enjoy it? Or is it like a game where everyone knows the rules and the only rule is not to talk about the rules?"

Oh, that's some innuendo.

"Excuse me if I remain unconvinced? I'm topped up on horror for one day, so let's talk about falling out of the sky for a bit. It's my first time for that too."

The truth is that she's never fallen out of the sky either. There are places where shifters are birds, but she thinks that must be weird, to have to master flying, too. She doesn't even pause to think that most of the things she does are based off instinct. Like roll her eyes.
She gives Connor another look over. "Pleasure's a whole thing. Time to learn."

Her other comment gives him pause. He would be glad to be numb again- comparatively. His senses had been far more acute but he didn't feel anything; data was collected, analyzed. It was nothing like this chaotic mess. But if he could get used to it, would he find something enjoyable in it all? He has his doubts. Still, it's something to think about.
