[She bares her teeth in something that's half smile and half not.]

Because it annoys you not to know.

I figure this is the Cuca figuring out how to play a joke on me.

The Cuca?

Yeah, uh.

Giant, and um. Kind of shapeless, and it eats babies? And kidnaps kids and whisks them away. Like. Seven feet tall? Eight? I don't know.

[rathercommon]

So - demons?

[pyrazine]

Well. I guess.

[She is going the iguess.gif gesture right now. She shrugs a little.]

I mean.

They eat babies.

[ She purses her lips skeptically. ]

D'you have proof of that?

[There's a pause.]

What, like have I walked in on one slobbering over a small baby head?

Or like do I have baby bones I found in the lair of one?

What kind of proof do you want for this sort of thing?

Like, do you know it, or is it just something that's been told to you.

[pyrazine]

I know it.

[She's never witnessed it, but she knows it.]
