NOTES: It's Katniss. You know there's going to be something.

Katniss has been taking all her lessons seriously, but the ones she had been working on most were the rogue lessons - lessons in climbing and sneaking in and out of places. Knife throwing into all kinds of targets. Climbing up and down buildings, and quite literally falling off of them.

No one was quite sure what she was training so hard for -- but then most of them had not been to the Emprise du Lion. They had not seen the cages. Katniss was not going to throw away their only chance to save those people, so whatever she needed to know? She would do.

So don't be surprised if she drops in on you, as she falls back into piles of hay or down in a leap.

Course she forgot to mention the Wardens, the killers/assassins, or the mercenaries that were here. Not that he's going to bring it up, she had the point. "Yeap. Like I said, right and wrong, all grey and fuzzy. Everyone's got their own ideas on what's what."

Another shot smacks the target before he draws again.

Katniss paused before her own shot, then gave Garris a considering look. "That's it, right there. What people aren't getting. This isn't a place for black and white. This is all grey."

"Even if they did get that there are so many different shades of grey here. No one is going to agree one hundred percent." Kind of why working in a smaller group worked out better - easier to organize. He's just here to shoot the obvious bad guys though.

"Considering how many people there are ... how could we ever hope to agree one hundred percent? That's just crazy." She paused for a moment, before looking up at him. "How many arrows do you have left?"

"That's usually why there is one leader for everyone to fall behind." Which they are currently out of.

"Three." Thud. "Two."

"Listen, there are only three people in all of Thedas we would all follow at this point - The Hero of Fereldan, the Champion of Kirkwall, and the Herald of Andraste." Katniss took out one of her last arrows.

"Of those, one is missing, one is possibly dead and the other one is ... sadly, definitely dead."

"The Champion of Kirkwall? Even if we did know, that one is stretching it a bit. Hawke proved to be a good leader, but a lot of people are upset about the Kirkwall Rebellion and the mage that started it." Him included. All those people who had been killed, some of his friends who had died from the blast, and almost having been blown up himself? Yeah he was still sore about it. Not to mention the fighting that had happened right after.

"There would probably be more people interested in fighting about that then getting anything done. Besides, from what I know of Hawke they wouldn't want to be latched down by a huge group like this. They worked well as a small group, you can move more freely that way."

"Well, she is one of the three strongest heroes of our age, even if she did start the mage and templar war." Katniss waved off the rest of the shooting, so they could go and retrieve all of their arrows.

"But hey, I'm all right with following the Hero of Fereldan. If we can find him." She smirked faintly, tugging her arrows free as she glanced over her shoulder.

"I'm not sure if she was the one that started it... but she was certainly involved." Giving a sigh, he follows behind to head over to collect his arrows as well.

"The Hero of Ferelden who is also the King of Ferelden I believe?" How would that work? Certainly his country would want him back being a king before letting him become the Inquisitor.

"That she was ... I don't know how, but she was." She pulled out the arrows carefully, making sure not to snap the shafts or the arrowheads.

She paused at that, before her lips twitched, "Queen Anora's seems to be doing all right on her own."

"I'm sure she is capable, but with the Divine gone, rifts opening up, and the Inquisition working so much with Orlais and other sources he might be hard pressed. Or worse the other countries would not sit well with him having control of a control and a huge army that isn't associated to any one group."

"Well, all you've really told me at this point is that we're screwed, Garris." Katniss said dryly. "I could have heard that a million times over from the Chantry."

[middle_of_calibrating]

"I'm just saying that everyone thinks those three are the only ones that could save our butts. All of them were nobody's before they became something. Too many people are looking for what we can't find. There are others who are probably just as capable if given the chance."

Katniss paused, before she tilted her head a little to the side. "All right, you make a valid point. Enough people coming from nothing, around here, we might all turn into something amazing."

[middle_of_calibrating]

"Well the lot of people who have come together have already made the Inquisition. That's something right there," he points out, yanking another arrow free. After inspecting it to see if it was still good. "Just have to see where this all goes. It's already made a difference in Emprise du Lion."

[the_effect_she_has]

Katniss wiggled another arrow free, looking at it carefully, before slipping it back into her quiver. "I hope so. I suppose we won't really know until we're finished with all the clean-up."

"Would help if their own country helped out," he mutters a bit grumpily. Hey, he was all for helping out, and he got that the nations might not have the best way to deal with rifts, but come on. At least they could send in support after they had done all the heavy work.

"It would help, but who knows? Maybe this will be the impetus to get the attention of Empress Celine." She shrugged her shoulders. "All I know is, we helped good people."

[middle_of_calibrating]

Because all the other stuff wasn't enough? Garris sighs and shrugs his shoulders as well. "That is a very good point. We did. Hopefully they can still live out there, what with all that red lyrium."

What can Katniss tell you, Garris? Nobles. Sheeesh. "Well currently they're all living in the tent city below us. We got permission to move all the refugees here until we could destroy all the red lyrium. Or at least enough of it that it's livable."

"Well that's going to be a feat and a half. The stuff drives you nuts if you're around it too long. Can't imagine what touching is like." Well good to know that something is being done about it. Granted living in tents isn't fun, but he supposes the weather up here is better than it is in Emprise.

"I can't either -- and I don't want to. So let's hope we can get it all cleared out." Katniss stated firmly, before she let out a sigh. "Corypheus is just bringing home all the pain and misery he can. I for one can't wait to put one arrow in his eye, if I have the honor."

[middle_of_calibrating]

"There is honestly going to be a line of people wanting to get a piece of that guy, but I agree. Setting an arrow, or three, in him would be most satisfying." Garris grunts as he yanks out a couple more arrows, before giving his own sigh. "It will be nice to get back to some normalcy after all this."

"Well, as long as we don't break these arrows -- I call first dibs on his eyes." Katniss stated with a completely straight face.

[middle_of_calibrating]

"Alright, deal. If you manage to keep these arrows I'll let you have dibs on those eyes of his." Course that didn't include anyone else going for them, but eh technicalities.
