"I couldn't allow you to continue suffering bland foods, my dear. I worried it might be the death of you." There's a sympathetic smile from Vivienne. Having sampled the wine provided to the Inquisition by the steward, she's convinced the man either got a discount on vinegar or is complicit in a murder plot. "Some personal sacrifices have to be made for the greater good, but adequate nourishment is not one of them."

Placing the basket upon an empty table, Korrin looks it over fondly before snapping back to attention. She'd never ignore a guest, especially one who brought so thoughtful a gift. "Those spices and herbs will see good use, I assure you. I'm no cook, but between Zevran and Araceli, I won't lack for a taste of the north. Care packages don't arrive often enough to satisfy those cravings."
And because Vivienne is here, she might as well give her part of the Wintersend gift set. Scooping up a small white box with a royal sea silk ribbon tying it together and a seal bearing the sign of a tea company in Orlais, she presents it to Vivienne. "Everyone needs their moment of zen while stuck here. Hopefully that will provide you with some of them. The kitchen servants told me what blends you tend to prefer, so I have to give them due credit."

The teas are a perfect selection too, even if Korrin did have help in picking them. Little luxuries like these make the separation from her home more bearable. Not that she'd ever complain aloud, beyond those times she's making her displeasure known about more important matters at hand.
"Thank you for this. It is appreciated."
