Korrin's in her spartan quarters that haven't seen much use lately, other than as simple storage for things she can't take with her to Emprise du Lion. Given the time of year, though, it's also storage for Wintersend gifts. In fact, she's lingering over a recent purchase with a small, smug smile before the knock has her tucking it away and answering the door.

For a second, Korrin wonders if she's late for training, but--no, she makes a point to never keep Vivienne waiting, ever. That and the overflowing basket clue her in rather quietly. Looking it over, her eyes widen in surprise and delight. "You are a lifesaver, madame. Thank you, truly."

She'll hold out a hand to take it from Vivienne, ushering her in so she can return the favor.

Leliana is leaning back from her desk, taking a moment to try and stretch out her shoulders and her neck, which she suspects may be locked into one position from so many hours spent sitting and writing. There are letters beside her, each written in a painstaking and complex cipher - or so it was at first, when they had only just begun this mission of theirs, a fresh code to challenge the most determined of would-be decipherers. Now she writes it easily, though easily is perhaps a relative term when one's hand is verges on seizing up, as well.

"Madame de Fer," she exclaims as she stands, not surprised by the presence of one she heard coming, but more who it was. "I wish I had known you were coming. I might have been able to tidy up a little better."

It's a joke, honestly. Just how nice and accommodating can a tower full of ravens be? As much as Leliana would say she is too busy for Wintersend, some players of the Game cannot be overlooked - for Vivienne she has something ready, though sadly the same cannot be said for all of Skyhold. "How can I help you?"

Norrington

Norrington was with his own people, in their tent circle. They were opening their own Wintersend gifts, and were already wearing the tabards that had been purchased, dark green with the Inquisition symbol on them.

He spotted her coming towards them across the courtyard, the picture of dignified grace. He turned towards her approach, stepping away from the laughter of his people to greet her with a half-bow. "My lady Vivienne, Happy Wintersend."

Kallian has no idea what to truly expect when she is summoned. Truthfully, she's still getting used to the idea of people paying attention to her at all, let alone bestowing her with gifts. She drops a small curtsey upon arrival, a small box clutched in her hands.

"...this is for me?" she asks shyly, half-disbelieving, when presented with the parcel, "That's very kind of you, madame, thank you."

And then she actually opens the gift and sees the beautiful scarlet silk that spills over her hands, and she actually gasps aloud and very nearly drops it in shock.

"Oh... oh, madame! Oh my goodness, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! I've never had anything like this before. I-I don't know what to say. Oh... Oh, Maker, you are far too generous, madame. I don't know where I would even wear something like this!" she gushes. "Truly, madame... It's... it's too much for a simple healer." She blushes.

It has been a busy while, for Benevenuta; her trip to Nevarra, trotting back and forth between Skyhold and Emprise du Lion, the acquisition of the sleek-coated spaniel bitch that keeps pace with her at her heels when she joins Vivienne in the evening. Not without a sense of relief for the opportunity to exchange their gifts pleasantly and privately - to relax, a little bit, for all that neither of them are ever really 'off' - does she accept the invitation, bringing with her two small boxes and her new constant companion ('Husband', who is also the constant companion of the stablehands when she's obliged to leave her behind to travel for the Inquisition).

To dress for dinner without the concern she might suffer a knife between her shoulder blades before the evening ends (or at least, not any more concern than is usual in Skyhold, as opposed to the viper's nest of the Nevarran court) isn't unpleasant, either. In Emprise du Lion, it must be all trousers and smart braids, and the familiar rustle of her own skirts is a sort of comfort in itself.

"Vivienne," she greets her, smiling. "You are too kind to me."

Urthalis is celebrated a little differently in Tevinter, because most things are a little different in Tevinter. Any excuse to show off and draw blood and bet exorbitant amounts of gold and they'll take it, but this meeting with Vivienne will not be Dorian's surprise introduction to the gentler, southern festivities of Wintersend. He's prepared ahead of time, having sent quite a few things back to Skyhold from Nevarra before showing up himself.

So that is why it takes a few minutes longer than Vivienne might expect, but when Dorian does emerge, he is prepared. Under his arm are bolts of fabric, mostly obscured by being bundled together in linen -- not exactly artfully wrapped so much as having between set aside especially and protected from the elements. But, by chance, it still mimics the tradition.

"Vivienne," he greets, with his usual tonal flourish that one could try to separate between sarcasm and genuine warmth, but it might be a fruitless endeavour. "Fancy meeting you in any deliberate fashion on your part."

Spoiled beyond belief and Adelaide- honestly? Is glad to not be alone in her attempts to spoil them. The gloves and books she's managed to wrangle for them felt horribly extravagant- but if Vivienne can swoop in with gowns and cloaks and sweets? It makes her gifts seem reasonable. Adelaide helps a few of the girls lace their way into their new dresses while watching the boys graciously thank their Auntie Vivienne. It is something to see, little Leon hurling himself at her for a hug.

They truly do adore her. That they've come to trust and care for anyone after what they've lived through? Is remarkable.

"Oh?" She sends Sabine on to share sweets with the other girls, peering at the box. "Vivienne you did not need to- seeing to them is more than enough."

Still she is not so foolish as to attempt to ignore the gift, already working it open with careful hands.

Jim, the scout that seems to be forever outside the Commander's office, would have told Vivienne that Cullen was requesting time to answer some reports that needed his immediate attention. Unfortunately, Jim has no spine when it comes to the Iron Lady, and he just as well squeaks the moment she comes up the stairs, deciding he had other things to attend to.

Cullen, on the other hand, had taken a moment away from answering reports to get up from his desk and walk around. He was near the door when the knock came, and he was possibly going to yell at Jim for ignoring his express orders.

He was, however, surprised to find Vivienne on the other side of the door. "Lady Vivienne, to what do I owe the honor?"

She is training, as it happens, hacking away at the dummies with short, quick strokes. Her full focus is on her work, or seems to be, but she notes a movement out of the corner of her eye even as she deals the dummy another blow.

Vivienne. Her presence here on the training ground is unusual enough, but when she fails to move on after a few moments of standing there, Cassandra realizes she isn't about to leave. Reluctantly, she lowers her sword, wiping sweat off her forehead with the back of one hand as she turns to the mage.

"Enchanter." She nods in greeting. "Did you need something?"

It's a surprise to Kain to be summoned to see Vivienne. True, they'd not really had any animosity between them or anything, but he got the impression she... disapproved of him somehow. Or perhaps it had simply been the plaidweave. Whatever the case, he decides he'll come along anyway and see what she has in store.

"You have something for me?" He's intrigued despite himself, wondering if he ought to open it now or wait for her word to do so.
