Emmeline gave out very few gifts this year. Mostly one for Garris, a few others, and mainly she managed to get sweets and give them to others. Honestly, it was the thought that counts. But for Vivienne, someone she could honestly say reminded her of what home was like, she needed something quite special.

So, like any other Orlesian would, she pulled in a favor. She still has a few, thank the Maker, despite what her parents might think.

She hopes to catch her up in her balcony, and she climbs up the stairs quietly. "Madame Vivienne?"

What luck for Emmeline! She's managed to catch Vivienne while she's taking a break from distributing her own gifts. Lounging on her settee with a cup of tea, she looks up and actually smiles. Such a delightful girl, Madame de Fer likes her for her manners and for her courage in forging her own path.

"Ah Emmeline, darling! Do join me, won't you?" Pouring another cup for her guest will prove no problem whatsoever. "I had wondered if you were in Skyhold or out and about."

Some people were away on Inquisition business. A poor way to spend a holiday, but alas sacrifices sometimes were needed for the greater good.
