Beleth has not, to her knowledge, done anything lately to catch the attention of Madame de Fer. So she's confused, but once again dons her best clothes, washes up, and does her best to look presentable, before trooping up to the balcony where Vivienne spends her time, perched like a cat watching her kingdom. Not too far from the truth, she supposed.

Beleth did do a doubletake when she saw the veritable mountain of boxes for presents. She knew that humans liked presents, and they didn't have quite the connotation that they did for Dalish. But still--That seemed. Excessive.

Beleth is pretty sure she doesn't even like that many people.

"Madame, you called for me?" Beleth's voice is polite as ever, and she ducks her head to Vivienne. Not quite a bow, but Dalish don't bow.

Rest assured, Vivienne doesn't like half the number of people she's got gifts for in this pile. However, she does recognize the necessity of bestowing them, and the interpretation that can be derived from those who are passed over.

"Ah there you are darling. I do hope I'm not keeping you from anything pressing." And if she were, well, the Iron Lady doesn't actually mind trumping other things. "My knowledge of Dalish customs is less than I wish it to be. Do your people observe Wintersend?"

She rather got the impression that they do not but that somehow gifts are a laden issue.

"Oh, no, Madame, not at all," Beleth replied smoothly. And even if Vivienne was, Beleth wasn't about to tell her that, so it all worked out in the end. At the question of Wintersend, the elf blinked a few times, trying to make sure that her face didn't look completely clueless as she tried to think of if she'd ever heard of it. After a few moments of thought, she decides to go with the simplest answer.

"No, I'm afraid that we don't observe anything called that. May I ask what it is?" Clearly, it must have something to do with the reason she'd been called up, and Beleth is clueless as to how she would be involved. Unless observing it involved ritual sacrifice of Dalish.
