"Just a moment of your time, my dear." And for Cassandra to stop brutalizing things long enough to take a moment for herself. If the Seeker is this engrossed in her training, it's quite possible she's managed to forget the date. As a quiet reminder, she adds, "It's Wintersend, darling, and I have something for you."

Multiple somethings and an intention to drag Cassandra away for a luncheon today.

The box in hand is held out for the taking. Within is an assortment of teas and some imported Nevarran nibbles as accompaniments. Nestled into the bottom is a copy of The Horned Ones, tucked away like a little naughty secret. There's also a bottle of spiced wine waiting for the days when everyone in Skyhold is stupid. Maker willing, it will moderate Cassandra's reactions a hair and prevent someone from being on the receiving end of the Seeker's ire. Perhaps.

"Wintersend?" Cassandra blinks. The date had completely escaped her. She takes the box as it's offered, instinctively, but she doesn't open it immediately, just holds it as if unsure quite what to do with it.

"I - I do not have anything to offer in return," she admits, a bit awkwardly. "I had meant to, of course, but - the date - I did not realize -"

The Inquisition, the rifts, Corypheus, soldiers and refugees and now rifters alike all pouring into Skyhold...she has scarcely had a moment to herself in months. In truth, she had never had a chance to give more than a passing thought to the changing of the seasons and the approach of the holiday.

And now this. Vivienne, poised and polished as always, gliding through the courtyard in her enchanter's robes and offering wrapped gifts as if it were any other year. Cassandra stares down at the box, still unable to quite make herself open it.
