"They are," Vivienne confirms with a veiled smirk.

Once he's out and ready for inspection, she looks him up and down, even more pleased with herself than she already was. "You do look marvelous, my dear. I thought the color would flatter you." How pleased she is to be correct in that regard.

"You might wish to take a turn about the room to check the fit. I can have Harritt address any alterations that are needed."

Ah, good. That's good, right? If the trousers are supposed to fit like this, then truly, why should he complain. Kain at first does look a little uncomfortable not being in armor, feeling exposed without that metal encasing him and protecting him from possible blows. True, he's not on a battlefield at the moment, but he likes to be... prepared for anything to happen.

"Do you think it's fine? Truly? It's been a long time since I've worn anything other than armor... Or... well. The other thing you saw me in." Yes, he knows now that plaidweave was a bad idea, though secretly he doesn't see the real problem with it: this is as sure a sign as any that he should never be allowed to pick his own wardrobe. "I really do like the shade of this blue... and these buttons... What do I owe you for all of this?"
