NOTES: Does your character want to yell at Cassandra about Anders? About Galadriel? About her choices in general? Alternatively, do they want to celebrate her on a job well done and thank her for her vigilance in keeping Skyhold safe? Maybe try to finally get a straight answer about exactly what is going on? This is the place!

For timeline purposes: post-Anders announcement; before/in the midst of/after rifter interrogations; either pre-Galadriel's imprisonment or while she still languishes in the cells.

She might be found swinging angrily at the dummies in the yard, assisting Cullen in training what recruits they have, or nursing a large ale at the Herald's Rest. More than likely, she's dodging Vivienne and her endless preparations, instructions, and reminders for the ball. Wherever she is, Cassandra is likely not in the best of moods, and there is a certain righteous fire in her gaze whenever she is challenged. Leliana's words and the way she had looked at Cassandra still sting, but she does not regret what she has done.

Still, no one can possibly be angry all the time, right? Maybe you'll catch her on a good day...

[ Cassandra pauses, taking a closer look at Vivienne.

Oh. She's angry. ]

Because that is the state of our dungeons, Enchanter.

And because she had to be detained somewhere, before she could make good on her threats.

[ She glances around the yard, frowning. ]

Threats which I will not speak of further here.

I hesitate to state the obvious, my dear, but those dungeons are so far crumbled it's a miracle they can hold a speck of dust. Though even were they not, I hope you can appreciate that Galadriel is entirely capable of removing herself were she not attempting to respect the restraint placed upon her.

[Absorb that, if you will, Seeker. The prisoner could free herself with no difficulty. That she has not speaks well of her intent and does cast aspersions on these claims of threats.]

But as you say, we can speak elsewhere of these threats.

[She extends a hand for Cassandra to take the lead to a location of her choosing.]

[ Not what she wanted to hear. She fears what Galadriel may be capable of enough as it is. Cassandra tightens her jaw, but nods jerkily, leading the way to her office, and does not speak again until the door has been firmly shut.

Once there, she begins pacing, hands twisting together as she stares at the floor before her feet. ]

You spoke of her power. What do you know of her already? Of her abilities?

[Vivienne holds up a hand to forestall any attempts at a full-blow interrogation as to what Vivienne knows. Cassandra ought to know well enough by now that the Iron Lady wouldn't withhold information vital to the success of the Inquisition. That she's come at all should speak enough.]

I do not know as much as I would prefer to. But I can tell you this: that woman holds enough power that she could rock the very foundations of the Black City itself.

[It's actually uncomfortable for Vivienne to acknowledge that Galadriel holds so much power that she can feel it radiating off her. Worse still is the realization that the lady elf outclasses her. Good luck getting that out of her though.]

Which you will note she has not done. If she has made threats, I do not doubt that she has the ability to follow through on them, though I find that remarkably unlikely as she has not already done and freed herself from imprisonment.

Cassandra, my dear, think. We know so very little about these shards and the people coming out of the Fade. We cannot research and learn the full extent of what we are facing if we lock them all up and turn them against our cause.

[ She listens, her heart sinking. She had known - feared - that Galadriel was powerful. But to hear Vivienne, of all people, speak of her this way is something else entirely. ]

She threatened the Inquisition. She refused to tell me what she knew, or what she was capable of. She -

[ She scowls, frustrated and afraid. ]

Why would she refuse to obey, knowing the alternative, and then sit quietly in her cell when she could so easily free herself?

[ It doesn't make sense. She doesn't like it. ]

And were the shoe on the other foot and you were a stranger in her lands, would you willingly share all that you know on her demand? Would you comply and obey on the word of someone who demands an oath from you?

[Vivienne gives Cassandra a pointed look. If she can get the Seeker to actually think what she's unleashed, perhaps she can be reasoned with.]

What does that tell you that she has not freed herself, though by all rights, she could, and possibly should, have done?

I daresay, you've acted quite the bully this time, Seeker.

I would not threaten violence against those who had fed and housed me. I would not put innocents at risk for my own purposes!

[ She looks right back, lips pressing into a thin line as her expression closes off. A bully? ]

[ Her tone is stiff and formal now, displeased and dismissive. ]
