WHAT: A new templar has arrived from the Anderfels to help where she can.

Templar Quarters

Where else does a templar belong than with her brothers and sisters in faith? She's a bit awkward, but trying to determine how many others are here, where they come from, and, of course, who happens to be in charge so she can report in to her new commanding officers.

Sparring Grounds

Daily sparring practice has been one of her chores since she was barely big enough to hold a stick and a makeshift shield. It's important to keep skills sharp, and she can be found practicing with dummies, or inviting others to spar with her.

Chapel

Faith is what sustains her abilities as a templar. Faith has pushed her through the difficult road she's had in coming here. Faith is her solace, and she can be found often in the chapel, kneeling at the feet of Andraste, reciting the Chant of Light in Ander, absently fiddling with a curious dark red pendant around her neck.

"It is a long way to travel, from Weisshaupt to Skyhold." Orlesians, Marchers, Fereldans- those are somewhat expected. But an Ander?

"It is. But I am told to go to Skyhold. So, I go. And I am here now to do what I can. It is a great honor to serve the Divine's will."

"Templars in the Anderfels take interest in the Inquisition?" That is support she had not quite expected.

[ingrid_kief]

"We do when we hear rumors of corruption and poisoning in our southern brothers and sisters," Ingrid answers rather bluntly.

[fleurdesel]

"It is a bit literal by way of corruption and poison at that- as such you are not wrong." Welcome to the south, where the templars spout red crystal and there is no Divine.

"That is why I am here. To help. If I can." Ingrid nods firmly. "You would do the same for your mage brothers and sister, ja?"

"Most of us came here for sanctuary from the war. Helping...is a pleasant side effect." A useful one, no doubt. A beat passes before she offers her hand, tentatively, and her name. "Adelaide LeBlanc of the Inquisition's Council of Magi."

She accepts the hand with a firm, calloused grip.

"Ingrid Kief. I am unfamiliar with your Council. Tell me of it?"

"Mages of the Inquisition, nominated by their fellows, gather to govern in accordance with and deference to policy dictated by Inquisition Leadership. A little like the College, a little not." Allowing apostates, for one.
