With the Rifters drifting in and out of memory, the Templar needing a near constant slow infusion of lyrium--some needing to be doped up with sleeping draughts as fast as Colin, Christine, and the others who’ve devoted their time to the pursuit can make them--and the runners moving slower and slower as they sleep less and less, it's decided that moving everyone to a more easily watchable location for care would be the best, and safest, play.

[Nahariel, Colin, Audra, and any others who remain blessedly unaffected and volunteer are headed out to wrangle you... u mad?]

II. You'll pry my room out of my cold dead hands!

They're going to try to push for it, but aren't going to force you. They do need to know where you are, especially the Rifters... who keep being forgotten just this side of entirely. Your location information is going to be taken down, and they'll continue to come visit you. This can be handwaved, or we can thread it out!

[If you'd like your poor sick bb to be dragged out kicking and screaming, go ahead and indicate that in your tag. Alternately, send me a line @ shaestorms and we can figure out how to pry you loose together. Once you're there, throw a tag to whine about it if you like!]

"You never taught me?"

He grins up at him.

"I'm quite tall, these days."

"I didn't know you wanted to learn?" he sighs in defeat and nudges their foreheads together, "You are nearly the perfect height now that you mention it."

"Well, a king has to know how to dance... "

He grins at relaxes visibly at the touch.

"Is that a yes?"

[castintoflames]

"That is true. I would not like for you to be embarrassed." he speaks gently, soothingly, "If you wish. But first you must heal."

[tar_minyatur]

"You're a fine one to talk." Elros snorts at him and pushes a little healing at him, stubbornly.

[castintoflames]

"My endurance is greater -" he huffs and gives his head a firm shake, "Elros, stop taxing yourself."

[tar_minyatur]

"You look worse." Elros argues, but he's too tired to actually keep it up, and only slumps against him.

"I hate being sick."

[castintoflames]

"How kind." the sarcasm is heavy in his tone, but he embraces Elros nonetheless, "I hate you being sick." and not just because his dear foster-son is a little grumpy.

It hurts to see one of his stars hurt or ill. He wishes he could take it all on himself instead.

"Well you do." Elros grumbles, curling against him.

"Elves aren't meant to get ill."

[castintoflames]

"Then why are you cuddling with me?" Maedhros pouts; it doesn't seem his vanity is completely dead, "No, we're not. Unless we are poisoned."

"You're warm."

Elros retorts, burrowing into his side.

[castintoflames]

"That is from the fever." his voice is flat, but he cannot stop himself from stroking over Elros's cheek.

"Maybe a bit, but you're always warm." Elros murmrus.

"A nice place to warm cold feet"

[castintoflames]

He presses his lips into a thin, worried line, forgetting to be difficult.

"Are your feet cold?"

Those need to be seen to immediately!

"Nah." Elros says drowsily. "Hands are tho."

[castintoflames]

"Give them to me." he reaches out for said hands, kissing Elros's temple.

[tar_minyatur]

Elros grumbles at him but does.

"You're supposed to be resting too."

[castintoflames]

Maedhros brings those hands to his chest, covering them with his own.

"I am resting. Do you see me exerting myself?"

[tar_minyatur]

Elros makes a happy noise at that.

"Eh. You're talking." He suggests with sleepy sass.

[castintoflames]

"Are you telling me to hush?" Maedhros pulls a face, "What a fine way to repay me for warming you!"

[tar_minyatur]

"Hush so we can both sleep."

Elros tugs at him. "Sleep is good for you."

[castintoflames]

Maedhros settles close to him, nuzzling his cheek against Elros's shoulder.

"If you can sleep, do so." he murmurs, closing his eyes with a small sigh.

[tar_minyatur]

"Only if you do too."

Elros insists. "No going off and doing anything crazy"

[castintoflames]

"I don't have the energy to do something crazy." he stretches out and offers himself as a pillow for his fosterling.

[tar_minyatur]

Elros takes the offer with a low huff.

"Good. Hopefully they find a cure soon."
