Herald's Rest
While her room's been mysteriously stolen by a mysterious shiteface, the tavern is still Sera's home in Skyhold. Drinking, playing cards, trying to avoid the weirdly intense gaze of the lady bard, Sera can be found doing them all now that she's finally back. As the night goes on the cheating becomes more flagrant and the stories louder, accompanied by wider and more dramatic arm flailing and occasional reenactments. Eventually, she tells the Tale Of The Time Cassandra Punched a Bear's Heart Out And It Got All Over The Herald's Clothes And I Laughed Then Shot Other Bears With Arrows. During her demonstration of the punch, she throws her hand back a little too hard and fast, hitting someone or knocking a drink over. But dealing with that has to wait until the story's done.
Out and About
Sera hadn't spent much time in the old fortress since she'd had to go off on Very Important Jenny Business (Possibly Involving Fire Ants and Honey), so it's time to get to know the place by the back of her hand again before starting up her services to the local community. Every hidden passage and unlocked (and unoccupied locked) room gets poked and prodded as the week goes on. All expect for one very specific room where she knows Creepy Cole likes to linger in, like some stupid ghost of the attic. Unless there's a juicy conversation to be overheard, she doesn't bother with stealth, just walking in and up to anything and anyone that strikes her. Anyone looking particularly servant-like will be getting chatted up whether the like it or not, along with most everyone else she comes across.

Herald's Rest
The title of the newest tale has him snorting with amusement into his flagon, listening intently from where he's sitting, which is the table next over. It's for a moment that he looks away to order another drink, seeing as he's almost done with his current one, when he suddenly finds a fist barely missing his face and knocking his drink over the table and himself. Anytime else that might have earned some words, but considering the story and that the woman just keeps on telling it he laughs.
"Well shit. I was hoping to go another day before having to clean this."
no subject
Sera may be a little too into the cups, but, really, she'd laugh at her own statement when sober, too. Not a familiar face, this one, but neither were most of the lot. All new bunches brought in by the shiny Herald's shitty death.
Sera finally falls back into her chair, tilting her head so she can see new friend.
"When'd you get here?"
no subject
He manages to find a towel and wipe up most of it, but he's still going to have to wash it some so that he didn't smell of ale.
"Bout a few hours ago," he replies at first before leaning on on his chair and raising his brows in amusement. "If you mean Skyhold, 'bout a couple months ago, or about."

Herald's Rest
"Vashedan." Cursing her own mistake rather than blaming it on Sera, she snags the nearest cleaning rag to wipe herself off. But she doesn't stray too far, wanting to hear the end of this tale first. One must have priorities.
Re: Herald's Rest
Sera broke into laughter as she finished her own story, leaning against the very warm, firm form that she...aw, shit. That she'd hit just a second before, hadn't see? And here with the arrows all stuck in a door upstairs.
She tilted her neck enough to peer at the form, spotting breasts (promising), shoulders (normal), and...horns. Hey now.
"Bull wasn't shitting, eh?"
no subject
"Lovely story, that. It was worth standing in the wrong spot at the wrong time to hear about some bear-punching." Not only that, but to hear about the Herald. As one of those who had been around since the formation of the Breach, Korrin hadn't known the Herald very well, but like everyone else at Haven, the woman was a symbol of hope. Her loss still aches, but moments like these make those memories easier to bear.

In her hut
If Katniss didn't know better she'd say that Buttercup had the upperhand again. She wasn't that surprised, except the woman had lasted three rounds.
At her knee, the wolf pup started growling and Katniss? Well Katniss did what any self-respecting scouting ranger would do. She pulled a knife out of her boot and growled herself at the intruder. "What the hell are you doing in my hut?"
no subject
No. She wasn't winning. But Sera had a soft spot for animals of the domestic nature (and feral ones in the city at that), so she was playing the game. The game of 'ow, you shitty tit! That's my archery hand!' But still a game. Currently she was crouched on the bed, paying no mind at all to the doggie and knife girl. She was too busy mimicking the hissing noises of the cat.
"Yeah, yeah, see? Not so hard. You don't scare me, pussy-bits."
no subject
"Yeah, he's just toying with you. I wouldn't turn my back on him, he'll take your face off."
She still had her knife out, and the wolf pup was still growling, but curiosity was going to get the better of her.
"Can I ask, again, what the hell you're doing in my living space, toying with my demon cat?"

Outside Sera's Room
not a blonde elf with a bow held at full draw, thudding arrow after arrow into the thick wood.
"...Is there something particularly offensive this door has done?"
no subject
She only glanced over to make sure the voice- another ink-stained elfy type at that, grand- wasn't pulling a knife or the like before notching another arrow in her bow and letting it fly. Her middle finger carved in arrows was nearly complete.
"Carved my tits in there and everything!"

Herald's Rest
"So, Kitten, what's this about someone stealing your room?" she asked later.

"Shit, innit? Go off to help save the world for a few months and some piss they take all your underthings. And the box they're in, too."

Herald's Rest
She hasn't been around for quite sometime, and he certainly didn't think much of taking her room at the time.
Then the arrows appeared over the course of time. For a moment, his heart had jumped, but not for the reasons that most people would think. When he realized who they belonged to, Fate chuckled to himself.
Well then.
Eventually, Sera will find a target set up for her on the door.

Herald's Rest
Unfortunately for him, he's joined on that day by a certain large, blue parrot, which swoops in and follows him despite his attempts to keep it away. He walks in and orders a drink, still believing he'll be able to keep to himself... at least, until he notices the parrot. "No! You... can't you leave me alone for a little while?" He's got no choice but try and catch the bird and get him out of here, so that's what he starts doing.
Flying away to evade Kain, the parrot lands to perch on a chair near where Sera is playing cards. Then the bird responds in the only way he knows how: loud obscenities, of course. "ANDRASTE'S FLAMING HOT ASS!!!"
Kain comes over with a sigh. "My apologies..." Worst way to interrupt someone's card game.

"Cursing bird. Ha! Finally someone saying what needs it, yeah? What's it called? Fuck Beak?"

Out and About
At the sight of another elf passing through, one she's never seen before, Sina lifts her head and offers a small, amiable smile of greeting. She likes it when people come to the garden, as long as they don't interfere with any of the work here.
no subject
Dalish, frolicking around in nature, watching her. Here, with her not doing anything, even. Then giving that little knowing smile! Sera scowled as she waited, silently confirming to herself that anything naturey was just off the list for future wandering. Should've known.

Herald's Rest
That, more than anything, is what gets him leaning up against the railing, his drink currently set down next to him so he can tuck his thumbs into the belt worn over his kilt- and after a few moments of watching, he can't help but comment, although he waits to make sure she's actually finished firing an arrow first. Last thing he wants to do is break her concentration there.
"Aye, well, that's one way to let someone know you're not happy with them. Why use arrows, though?"
no subject
Stated like it's the most obvious fact in the world. She glances over as she notches another one- man in skirt. Nice. Sera could respect people being who they were 'stead of what was typical.
"What else's there to use?"

Today, the small qunari is sitting on a roof at the ramparts and throwing small rocks on a soldier's helmet below. The very same soldier that had been a dick to him because he was qunari the other day and almost getting him in trouble for it. High up as he was, it was impossible for the soldier to see Kas on this side of the wall, and he couldn't leave his post... so it was a perfect way to annoy the asshole.
It was much easier to spot the scrawny teen from behind, however. Give him some pointers?
