For Sam
"How do you feel about going to a tavern tonight? I feel like I could use a drink." It was very rare for him to be interested in drinking, but he would need a bit of courage to talk about what he needed to.

There are a number of things he expects to happen, but hearing Cyril wanting to go out to drink? Definitely not one of them. His smile drops, instead replaced with a look of confusion with edging concern. Cyril did not drink, so the fact that he wanted to was something to take note of.
"Ah... sure? Everything alright?"

"Where is a good place to have a drink here?"

A good place to drink? "We could go to the Blooming Rose," he says without missing a beat as he stands up, putting his book away on the table.

"You do know just what to say to woo me."
no subject
coughJamescoughas if it was any other tavern.Course now it was pretty much his regular drinking - or even dining - spot here in Kirkwall; he found it more uplifting then the other spots. Probably didn't hurt that the attention he got there was better too.
Hearing Cyril say he was 'woo'ing him, Sam gives an amused huff. "I aim to please."
no subject
"So, are drinks all you partake in at The Rose?" he asked. He didn't seem to be judging the idea, just interested. He might also like the mental image of Sam doing such a thing. He'd love to make believe some day and be the one who Sam spends gold to be with.

"The food is surprisingly decent as well," he responds easily to the next question, his mind clearly not on the same page. It eventually catches up though, a slight shade of pink dusting his cheeks when he realizes what Cyril was actually asking him.
"Yes, drinks and food are all I partake in. No, I don't go there for their other activities," he clarifies. He knows Cyril isn't one to judge when it comes to these sorts of things, but that wasn't why he went there. "Well... I did rent a room a couple times with Jim back when we were living in the Gallows. I just couldn't sleep behind those stone walls all the time." Not that they got much sleep though.
"Besides... it's not like I don't get enough of it at home." Between Cyril and Jim there was hardly any reason for him to go seeking it elsewhere.

"Have you ever wanted to purchase those types of services? I'd be happy to play with you at that. It'd be a fantasy, of course." He might as well offer that while he was thinking about it.

For Sorrel
He ended up at Sorrel's room and knocks lightly to see if he's there.
no subject
"Aneth ara, lethallin," His smile for Cyril is warm and genuine. There you are, it's been too long, "Is everything alright?"
Please say it is. Sorrel doesn't know that he can do much more than he is.
no subject
"That and I came to see if I could convince you to take a moment to relax."
no subject
Although, at this rate, that might not be so true, soon enough. But Sorrel either didn't care, or didn't see it that way; but even he can't deny the way it looks.
"C'mon, now. Really."

Sorrel says it almost as soon as Cyril steps in, but it's too late. He's doing it. Compassionate touch and the soft, unrelenting concern in his eyes.
"I'm serious, Cyril don't do the face. I'm telling you, I'm fine."
Creators in a bucket beyond the veil, he's doing the face. It's so fucking sincere too, how does he-- this is how he gts people to do his bidding, Sorrel just knows it! So, after a moment he sighs, and rolls his eyes, and gives over.
"Alright, enough! Fine! What do you want me to do anyways?"
no subject
"Let me do something for you. Even if it's as simple as giving you a distraction or going for a walk?"
no subject
Sorrel pushes a hand through his hair, and heaves a heavy sigh. He doesn't get to be mad, about this.
"I don't even know what to ask for. I'm just... tired," He's slept, but not well, only the unkind sleep that somehow wakes you more tired than when you began, "What kind of distaction did you have in mind?"

For James
Instead, he remembered that James had offered to help him track down materials. That seemed like as good an excuse as any to spend time with the templar. So he sought out James, planning to suggest they go attempt to find a way to get the materials on their own.
Re: For James
So when Cyril knocked on the office door to the advisor's offices in Forces, James looked away from the window with something close to relief on his face.
"Cyril! What brings you up to this neck of the proverbial political woods?"
